Actually, it bounced right off the windshield first. leading to this little creative field fix. Couldn't get the
rubber windshield molding to stay proper along the bottom and right hand corner. I drove it for another
1500 kms with this on. The fake sheepskin kept the ratchet from beating up the dash.
I'd take a week of this right now...….

On a related side note, I saw a woman drive past my place this morning in a flat black/charcoal Fj40. Anyone know who it is? Are they connected with the forum?
It could be the same woman who had a tan diesel cruiser that one of us bought up a year or so back... it had aluminum patches pop riveted along the sides to ‘repair’ the holes.
There is also a green cruiser in this area that has a bumper sticker that says something like: “Honk if any parts fall off”. I’ve seen where it lives, and it being driven around... I’m getting lazier in my old age, I haven’t even left a note on the windshield... I used to track down every 40 owner I could... I’m lucky no one ever thought I was a stocker
