So.. I might not be seeing what your seeing but that part is a die cast part... I don't think those are cracks. I see a pattern of six segments from the casting process.

Maybe your right. Some sure look like cracks though. I have others and they don’t look like that. I sure wouldn’t trust this one.

If that is just casting it looks like a good failure point.

I'm 99.99999% sure those aren't cracks. Pull the snap ring off and slide the spine out. The bore should be a better indicator if there are cracks, especially if it's machined.

Got a new bumper, a couple light bars a roof rack and I will be accepted into the overlanding crowd!

you need an expensive fridge and a bunch of empty jerry cans strapped on the back bumper for full membership...

the bumper looks good. I need to bend some poo pipe around mine one day.

This is literally a 5min drive from my home and work...I’m often too lazy to hike it so I thought I’d air down and try the goat path today.

What you see below is where I get to work...it’s kinda surreal.

Well used casting molds start to show lots of flaws, you see this on later toyota transfercase castings.

From the look of it he's selling more than the truck...
