Thats a novel idea.
Why didn't Ford think of that?

Actually. Isn’t it a ford part?
Edit: thats the 90* adapter folks use in the 1fz
Technically a different part than the remote filter kit and probably not applicable to your oddball setup :)

My last response was sarcasm.
I'm sure Ford does have a proper fix for this. So why wasn't the truck manufactured with it? I have owned several Fords in the past, I feel like they engineer their vehicles so they can sell you aftermarket parts later. True or not, doesn't matter, I won't be buying one of their products.

They had the audacity to block mud at the office... now I gotta go to my car to get on mud while at work, this is just silly.

Man i've about had it with health care costs in this country. Just got a bill for a procedure that doctor advised for me to get since every now and again I need to go on acid reflux meds. I told her, like I told the person at the place where the procedure was done that I will do it but if its going to be expensive I want to know before hand how expensive its going to be. It isn't a life saving thing I need. No one indicated it would be much higher than normal tests i've had done in the past when I told them my out of pocket was a few hundred bucks.
Just got the bill (should note I haven't even got the test results back yet) $3,500 for me... my insurance covered 8k. WTF..... how does that not fall under the tell me how much it is if it is an expensive test. I shudder to think what the cost will be if I need to get actual surgery from the results. The #1 reason people declare bankruptcy in the US for a while now has been crushing medical debt. I'm not saying that this will make me go into bankruptcy or anything like that but to a different person it could, and $3,500 is not a cheap thing for them to just not tell people up front what they will have to pay for a non-emergency procedure. The money to pay this is money I had squirreled away to finish the 3fe and ship the 80 here. :bang:

We've done it to ourselves I guess, we refuse to make the government regulate healthcare costs.

There are a bazillion reasons to get off acid blockers like prevacid , prilosec. etc. Cost is one, but there are serious health issues caused by them. Theyve had to add this stuff to the warning labels. They block the body's ability to absorb magnesium, which helps with pain, inflammation, etc., b complex and b12 absorption, which is responsible for energy, focus, etc. it also blocks vitamin d3, which helps with energy and mental clarity. It also causes your digestive system to basically bypass step 1 of digestion, where the hydrochloric acid in your stomach would normally start to break down your food when it hits your stomach. it causes stuff to either sit and rot in your digestive system , or causes the fats to not get processed out of the body, causing strain on your pancreas, liver, and kidneys.

My wife started me on digestive enzymes (we use digest gold) and pancreatin. I take a few with each meal, and I can count on one hand the times I get heartburn. when I do get it, a spoon of baking soda and water, and I'm good to go (after the burping).

I've been wanting to get off omeprazol for a while now, but the heartburn is brutal. I'm going to have to check into your method. Thanks for posting

I also changed what I was eating (somewhat), and the amount of food I was consuming.

I got away from 4 20oz bottles of mtn dew a day (ooof), and ate until I was almost full, not clearing my plate to make the wife and mother in law happy.

I dropped about 40 lbs, felt better, hips knees and ankles stopped hurting from. carrying the extra weight.

I dont diet, and I dont deny myself any food cravings. I've learned what my body doesn't like, and tend to stay away from that.

Good luck on the change, it's worth it in the end

I have been on it for many years now. I apparently developed some scar tissue when I was younger and didn't know it, just thought I had a "cast iron stomach". Boy was I wrong. Apparently had had reflux for a while and just didn't know it. I don't like having to take it and I know certain things to make it worse, but at this point after a couple days without it, pretty much anything gives me heartburn. I have tried a number of things with little success. I even tried apple cider vinegar, and decided if that was all there was, I'd just have to starve because I can't stomach it either.

I don't drink many sodas anymore and am learning not to stuff it all in. Your comments about the digestive process is what I seem to see more of. I feel way more bloated and just get blah feelings more frequently. I know I need more activity too, but work makes that hard, so getting my gut healthy I think will be a big step. I am going to order some of the Digest Gold and pancreatin and see if I can work myself off the omp.

Thanks

Saw this at lunch the other day. Confused the hell out me. Had to walk around back of it to see what it was.

I’ll turn this into a rant so it’s appropriate for the thread....

I hate it when people through a picture up on social media without following through on the explanation. Ugghhh...it’s like another “if you know, you know” post...😊

Seriously though, what was it?

I think that is the latest Oldsmobile logo, but not 100% sure. And have no idea what model it is

The panic has already started here. The station down the street had an attendant out this morning waving people off because they were already out of gas. Go ahead and get ahead of the morons and get your toilet paper while you can.

“Before you panic and hop in the lines at the gas stations, please take a moment and stop and think and use a little common sense. The pipeline has a manual back up system that does not rely on the computers. As of this morning WXII of Winston Salem was reporting the following: This is more like the toilet paper shortage that wasn't. The over reaction of those who fail to plan ahead, stop and think create the shortage by over demand, NOT the reduction of fuel supply. Per WXII Winston Salem this morning, "RALEIGH, N.C. —
In a release Monday night, Colonial Pipeline says operations have resumed in the pipeline that runs through the Piedmont Triad.
Colonial Pipeline says Line 4, which runs from Greensboro, N.C., to Woodbine, Md., is operating under manual control for a limited period of time while existing inventory is available.
Officials said they will continue to evaluate product inventory in storage tanks at their facilities and others along our system and are working with our shippers to move this product to terminals for local delivery.
Earlier in the day, Gov. Roy Cooper signed Executive Order No. 213, declaring a state of emergency in North Carolina and temporarily suspending motor vehicle fuel regulations to ensure adequate fuel supply supplies throughout the state."

IN PLAIN ENGLISH IF WE EXPERIENCE A GAS SHORTAGE IT WILL BE OF OUR OWN DOING BY THOSE WHO LACK COMMON SENSE AND HORDE!!

The sky is not falling.”

But how will people know I’m an a****** if I don’t take 24 1-gallon cans to fill up at the station???
C’mon. We know.

I have a 150 gallon stock/reserve…in a boat that I’ve never used, lol (it’s treated and not old). Hit me up if you need the gas!

Everytime there's a run on something because of a lack of common sense I think about the movie "Idiocracy", shake my head and just pray this isn't where it all starts...
