How the f*** does someone get arthritis at the age of 31.
Try 17, biatch.

EDIT: I gave up pretty much everything to save my hands for guitar until around age 33. After that, I've been able to use a hammer, screwdriver, golf club, tennis racket, etc...to some degree...but no more guitar.

I got it since 27-28. Lower back. Karate made it a lot better. But my hands and feet are always in pain.

Happens to all of us dude. I've got messed up knees and Arthritis in my shoulder. I was right around early 30s when they told me that. I've tried to just ignore it. Sometimes long hikes with any weight will kill me.

With what you do, computer mouse for sure. That sucks dude :(

Definitely a factor. Doc said he thought it was caused by an old injury, but I don't recall damaging my wrist in the past. Have been told by others that it's common with computer people who also work on cars. Don't know if I'll ever know for sure what the cause was.

@GLTHFJ60 - You have probably already tried this, but if not, you may want to look at wearing a brace when you sleep at night to keep your wrist in the proper position vs getting bent back/forth. This solved my Wife's issue. 99% of her issue was sleeping on it funny.

I have one I've been using. Doesn't make a big difference in my day-to-day experience other than messing up my shoulder

It seems I am a house of cards.

I think it was @Izzyandsue who recommended dried cherries to me a few years ago. I can’t say they were definitively a positive but I have felt better as long as I eat a handful every day.

Yessss, tart cherry extract pills, I am still on those, what a difference. Doc recommended for a family member with Lupus, I figured it might help me with my beat up joints.

My dad does raisins soaked in gin and they work like a champ. Also, arthritis can be linked to what you eat as well.

Have you noticed any deterioration in your vision?

I find gin dulls a lot of my pain, but it’s mainly emotional.
