When you push a grommet through the floor of your LC (to run wires) and go to retrieve it under the vehicle and it is NOWHERE to be found. I lowered the spare and looked there, looked on all areas it could have landed on. Gone. Nowhere. Crazy.

Some !@$$?*^%£|€*€ PO used construction adhesive instead of caulk around some trim that I have to replace. All I can say is I'm not sorry he has left this world. My anger towards his "home improvements" knows no bounds.

And Fleetwood Mac is getting played waaaaay too much on pretty much every web station I go to. 90's Alt Rock? Seriously? And nothing from them with a girl singer should ever be played on a station that also plays Peter Green-era Fleetwood.

I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

This has not been a happy day. Welcome to my world.

Put the tools down John Vee, walk away slowly. Hang a hammock and swing for a bit. You will get it. Sometimes the uinverse takes a dump on you, you will overcome. Leave it alone, take another look tomorrow.

Selling your home...

You moving somewhere again?

No selling the farm in Ohio, while renting a house in Va. Selling while you live there is hard enough, but from afar seems just as hard.

Last we talked you were in Ohio, lol. Where in VA?

If you have a shop vac shove it into the oil fill hole for the few seconds it takes to swap plugs. Won't lose a drop.

Never heard of that one, thanks much @Rice I'll give that a try next time the opportunity presents itself.

Cherie Berry needs to smack her crew around. I'm stuck between floors in an elevator that hasn't been inspected since 2015. At the old folks home. With a full bladder, of course.

This hasn't happened to me since the power blew one night at The Orange Peel 5 years ago. Probably hasn't happened before.

Reminds me of the Jeffersons episode where George helps deliver a baby in the elevator.

Ordeal! Ordeal! Received an IRS letter today. Not good news. My accountant has it and the ORDEAL of getting supporting documents together will take a little while. I hate the IRS! No, I didn't cheat on my taxes!

Rant thread probably doesn't "need" a bump, and I generally have adopted a "life is good" attitude about most things. In fact, I find that the only time I can feel myself getting bent out of shape it involves politicians or education, and in this case both.

NC passed a resolution to lower class size in elementary schools. Not a voter alive would call that a bad idea and research backs it up. What NC does NOT do is FUND the change. So NC elementary schools have to hire more teachers and don't have any money to do it. Where does the money come from? In the case of Guilford County it came from the High Schools. At my school we are cutting 5 full time teaching positions and class size is going up. :bang:

Once again the tail wags the dog.

Rice

That is beyond stupid, Rice. They also are giving administrators a larger raise than teachers...for the life of me, I cant figure that out. They need less administrators, more teachers, and dont get rid of teachers assistants. The county and state have done a marvelous job of recruiting new teachers, fresh from college, and then doing an even more marvelous job of shooing them away to other states, because of shenanigans like above.

But boy, we sure do need those spiffy new practice jerseys, and padded seat cushions, and color coded mouthguards personalized with the players name, position and number...

@Rice I just sat here shaking my head. It's just so typical of so many things that are funded by taxpayer dollars. Vote and approve something with zero consideration to how and who is going to pay for it. I do not envy you your position in this situation.
