Its what was in the garage. Funny tho Gumby was just at a buddies tonight eyeballing the steering wheel in his 1980 minitruck. Maybe later. Wheels are easy to swap.

Anyone know off the top of their head pitch and size of these? Ignore my messed up finger.

I recall them being different pitch.... I ended up retapping mine as I bought special stainless taper head bolts and they needed to fit....:hillbilly: If I recall, they were a finer pitch.

need some updates

Not much of an update. Had a work trip just got back from that took a week and got sidetracked on the homebrew kegerator. Holds 2 corny kegs. On way back from work trip stopped by Chef's and helped assemble the 45LV and went to get my old doors from the bodyshop where his 45 pickup lwb is waiting on paint. While might not be thread Swb related it is all associated. In some sort of way.

Fitting powersteering pump. Its a volvo pump on a gm bracket with a couple dom spacers using the stock smog pump mount including stiffening brace. Might have to move brace out a touch but not yet. Next on the list is a york where the power steering pump used to be. Goal is to see if stock 62 belt fits.

Stock pump was an option. The lines were toast when trying to remove them off the donor. The stock pump is weaker than a saginaw and much more expensive to repair/replace. This also moves the pump to drivers side instead of pass side reducing leak opportunities and reducing hose length. I also open up the pass side. Wanted a york on pass side to utilize the air cleaner to filter the intake fitting on the york as well. I have a stainless air tank that should fit in the boxed section behind the front seats as well. And lastly, i had all this stuff sitting here including ps hose that fits.
I did check to see if a 60 pump and mount would fit but no go on that option. Lengthy explanation but i never had a problem running this pump on my 40 with hydro assist and 38's.

While not entirely 45 related it does go along with the build. A keg of wheat and a keg of milk stout carbonating will help the build move forward. Should be ready by the 4th.

Modifying shroud. Had four to dig thru. Newer 40 was easiest to fit. Moved drivers about inch? Or so.
