I thought so, just cant see any way to get in there. Maybe the bumper is in the way.
You have to go in from the inside of the cargo panels. Take off the panel and stick your arm back in there while working blind. Try to talk your wife or small child to do it, smaller arm.

The points cause an interruption in ground, so there shouldn’t be any spark at the points. Somebody please set me straight if I’m wrong.
If I remember correctly, there is a spark when opening. That’s why they burn through eventually.

Bill is correct, 12v running through points. Sorry, been a couple days since I’ve messed with points.
