I was at our club meeting last night and we go on the subject of events and things to do besides wheeling. Some competitions we talked about we:

Blind spotter competition
Poker run/Geo searches
Drinking - I'll list this to save someone some typing and clicking
Music
Shooting - there is a park that has a shooting range

What are some other things we can do to make events more interesting for all who attend?

Thank you.

RC Crawlers
Talk crap about peoples fabrication
Fireworks
BBQ
Projector screen movies

Mickey Bombs

and more Miickey Bombs.

Well this is on the plate for GSMTR this year.

Wheeling of course
Blind driver competition
RC rock crawling competition
Scavenger hunt (We hide these ACC powder coated sculptures out on the trail and if you find one you win a prize)
Trips to a local state park
Drinking
Wheeling movies on a wide screen (KOH, Peterson's, participants videos of that day)
Music (We have music every night but a live band playing one nigh)
Food (We are having BBQ one night as well other clubs are cooking meals to raise some money for their club.
Fishing (we have two stocked bass and brim ponds on site)
Poker (we set up a poker table for anyone to use)
Horse shoes
Basketball (there is a full court basketball court on site)
Volleyball (we have 3 sand courts that are lit)
Raffles (having one of the best damn raffles around)
Awards (Handing out awards to those people who who do something special)
ATV (our park allows ATVs and we welcome registrants to bring them)

And best yet. Hanging around other enthusiast and making friends for life.

Hows that?
