Come join us for some wheeling in the Union Creek area and hopefully some snow, and a hunt for a tree if you still need one. We’ll take a snack break mid day, maybe even make some hot chocolate or coffee. Bring kids, your dog and some warm clothes.

Meeting at 21222 Highway 62, Shady Cove, OR 97539, the Circle K/Chevron, at 9:30am. Top up our fuel tanks and we’ll be leaving at 10am.

So prepare your chainsaw and respool your winch just in case. We’re not looking to get into anything too nasty, but we will still have a good time out wheeling. We’ll see you there!

Some trimming and we are ready! Can't wait. I also have a buddy that might follow us. Granted it's not a toyota he is self reliant and does great with snow.

I will meet you guys at Beckys I am going to get breakfast . first . and i may trailer the 40 to there

Fun Day. Icy

Patrick, any interest in prerunner front fenders ?
Not sure. Depends on how they would end up looking. Otherwise I'm probably just going to cut a decent amount more away pretty soon.

But if I go prerunner style, then I can use the paint scheme Ivan Stewart had on his 80 he used to prerun with and be longer version of Jeff's 40

Here for some pics of @ThreeEyedBandit 80 on 40's! I don't see any good ones.

No pictures from me this trip. Really want to go back and get to the lookout!

I will say the snow was rough, crust on top of sugar snow.

I will also say this size rocks compared to my old 37's! 3-1/2 to 4 psi on my old tires feels very similar to 7psi on the 40's, plus plenty room to drop pressure. I would bet I lost over a hundred pounds going from the steel weld on bead locks to the aluminum wheels. No trips for the next couple weeks, need to trim the rear fenders and probably push the rear axle back an inch or so.

Agree the snow was tough . Need to hit it after or during the next storm .

Yeah I punched through once really good. I was just going along and the front end dropped in and that was it. A couple other spots I was able to power out of when I broke through
