My top speed used to be 45 with a crazy limiting wobble.
However after going a little off roading one day, it must have broke loose some old a@# mud.
Now she can hit 70 no problem
And this is a stock F'er with a Weber 32/36 and of course a lot of love

Lucy (trail pig)- F engine, 3 spd., Weber 38, 4.56's, 33" tires, no speedo, so I'm guessing about 70 mph, maybe a smidge faster driving down hill...

Lily (stocker)- 2F, 4 spd, stock everything else basically, only getting to about 60-65 mph lately, I am having some carb or vacuum issues I think. Well, I am not really sure what's going on but I have lost some power lately...

Im all stock and can hit 70mph before it says "Who's your daddy?", but the crusin speed is between 60-65mph pushing it... otherwise i stay between 50-55mph.

i cruise around 63MPH per GPS, (50 per speedo) mostly its a comfy speed with 36" tires and SOA, but its also better on gas, i have done a few road trips at 75MPH plus and the mileage is noticeably down.

i can roll it in the driveway, but the speedo's not hooked to a tranny, so i have no clue how fast i'm going :flipoff2:

95 comming back down the 99 from the last pig run , chasing Joe s in the 454-55 ,

fj55-100

I was running between 65 - 70, on my way to the pig run but thats when she let me know that my trip was done with a spun rod bearing :crybaby:.

Yea after just running the con I was more than a little cocerned about a catastrophy happening at high speed , as joes rig sat for the run ( way to pritty) to take out , at the next stop i expressed the need to slow down

after wheeling, and maybe being alittle aired down, i EXPRESS the need to slow the train down on the blacktop.... then people start calling me grandpappy and telling me I drive like an old FJ-55 landcruiser... good old piggy is older than me :grinpimp:

Not sure what mine is, probably about 100 km/h maybe more, i didn't push it too hard when i was bringing it home, plus it had undersized tyres at that time.
but now it is sitting in the shed as it has been for about 9 months, with a choice of standard split rim tyres or 31x10.5r15 muddies.
so still not regisetered and therefor not mobile, so thats what i chose.

I hit 96 indicated down a hill with a tailwind once near T or C, New Mexico. With a 3-speed tranny. You want to talk about gear whine...

I've driven my pig up to almost 90mph, but that was downhill. Definetely not too safe at that speed for me, or the old f145 engine. My speedo will say 70-75mph on the freeway with 33"s, but I'm not too sure how accurate that really is. So top speed is probably 75-80mph, while top comortable speed is probably 60mph. It's amazing how a pair of intercos can ruin high speed stability.
