Still looking for P/Ns for the front pads and rotors.

(Edit: PLEASE include model year, whether it’s a LC or LX, and if possible the build date listed on the VIN tag in the driver’s door jamb.)

Hello all,

I’m fortunate enough to have access to a system to look up part numbers, and figure having a single place to put all the obscure requests would be a good idea.

So here it is. Please post what you need, whether it’s LX or LC, model year AND build date, and if possible a picture.. and I’ll see if I can dig up useful numbers.

Btw if it’s inappropriate for me to call my own thread “official” let me know and I’ll adjust.
Part number for the front grille/fascia of the 2024 LX 600 v 2024 LC 300. thanks

Still looking for P/Ns for the front pads and rotors.

Stock front pad sets are the same 2008-2019: 04465-60280

Front rotors are different though, with 2016+ LC and LX getting a larger diameter
2008-15: 43512-60180
2016-21: 43512-60210

Note that in 2019 the front pad part number changed, though this must be a compound update because they are physically interchangeable. The new number is 04465-60281

Part number for the front grille/fascia of the 2024 LX 600 v 2024 LC 300. thanks

I only have access up to 2022, sorry.

Saint Bloc to the rescue. Thank you, sir.

Any chance that you have the shim set p/ns?

And, do we know if rotors sell in sets or individual?

EDIT to add:

I found this (thanks @Sandroad). Do the shim, pin and clips sets fit all year models?
These are the parts I ordered and installed in my '17. Same for '21 if you go OEM.

Rotors will be each, shims pins and clips are the same. Rear calipers changed part numbers around 2016 but it appears all pads, shims, and even the slide pins, are interchangeable.

I've done pads and rotors on old Chevy Suburbans and Tahoes. How would you rate the difficulty on a brake/rotor job for a 200? I haven't checked for video how-tos yet. I don't really plan on bleeding this go-around.

If you don't have corrosion they are quite easy. On the front I usually pull the pins which allows the pads to come out, then I push the pistons back while the caliper is still mounted. Then two bolts to remove the caliper from the knuckle and the rotor comes off the hub, sometimes needing a little persuasion. Note that there is a M8-1.25 threaded hole in each rotor hat to help push it off the hub.

The rear is a little more like a typical brake with both a caliper and a bracket to remove.. the one tricky part if you do the rears is setting the parking brake. First you'll need to retract the parking shoes via screwdriver onto the star wheel via the access hole.. that has to be done to get the old rotor/drum off, the wear lip usually catches the parking shoes and retains the rotor. Then setting tension on the new parts.. definitely look that up. To do it correctly you'll need to remove the cupholder for access to the cable nut, and it's best to have a fish scale that goes to ~50# and a little rope so you can set the parking brake handle correctly.

Hi, is there a rebuild kit for front brake caliper (2016+), need pistons, seals, boots.

Thanks
2016 LC front brake "cylinder kit" includes seals, boots, boot clips, and it appears some kind of lubricant
04478-60070

Pistons are 47731-60280 with 4 needed per caliper.

If you’ve done other brakes, the 200 is very easy. I was able to wiggle the rear rotors off past the shoes and so didn’t have to mess with the parking brake adjustment. On a lot of mechanical work I use my arm’s built in torque wrench, but for brakes I get out my real one and set bolts correctly.

Do you have the associated torque values handy?

Front caliper bolt. 73 ft lbs
Hose to caliper banjo. 22
Rear caliper bolt. 65
Caliper bracket bolt. 70
Hose to caliper banjo. 22
I’m away from home so can’t check myself, but the front calipers on 16+ are definitely much higher torque. Possibly one or two of the rear brake fasteners as well.

Either way this is getting off-topic for this thread. And giving me an idea for a new thread.. if it isn’t already done.

Per the @bloc post, if you’re doing the brakes on your ‘16, the FSM shows

Front caliper bolt. 133 ft lbs
Hose to caliper banjo. 22 ft lbs
Rear caliper bracket bolt. 114 ft lbs
Rear slide pin. 65 ft lbs
Hose to caliper banjo. 22 ft lbs.

looking for the name and part number of the brackets(?) that 52521-60130 “retainer front bumper” attaches to. Specifically the ones outboard of where the lower headlight bolt attach

Thanks.

The diagrams aren't very clear on this particular part, and I even went out and had a look at my 2013 without it being clear what you need.

I'll attach the diagram and you let me know if what you need is on here.

looking at 52521, there are 3 91673-A0624 bolts indicated. I’m looking for the part that the left (passenger side) bolt wold attach/mount to.

I think the mounting point was removed when the PO removed 52521 to install a bumper and winch.

Thanks for looking.

I went to look at this diagram and dont believe what he is looking for is in the picture.

Pretty sure it’s on this page, but good luck picking it out.
