I sure do hope this person's kid grows up to have the parents' sense of humor, or at least that they scrape it off before the kid can read. Also, I couldn't get a clear pic of the "Baby Up In This Bitch" sticker on a minivan at the other end of the parking lot. What is it with the popularity of baby-themed stickers in NOVA?

What is it with the yellow "New Driver" stickers on minivans being piloted by incredibly angry Karens?

I've always thought hydrogen power was the better option than battery electrification. Damn Hindenburg ruined it for a hundred years.

6000 lbs is a very large vehicle for DC
I love how they acknowledge that they can't ban them but they will instead make it so prohibitive to regester them that people will think tiwice.... but what about the Lefts love of the electric vehicle?

Get an EV!they all scream itll save you money!

Ever wonder what a Tesla comes in at?

and this is just a car.... there are no numbers for the Tesla Truck but the Ford Lighting ( EV )....

Yup... saving us money cause you know these EVs will never get bigger or heavier!

BUT WAIT.... they are willing to give a break on EVs cause they know the batteries are the source of the extra pounds.... so its not about the size or damage it does to the road or the less parking but
wait for it....
its the damage it does when it hits someone!!

I am sorry but its not the vehichles fault that the driver is unsafe and doesnt know how to drive a bigger vehicle properly... its not the vehichles fault that pedestrians do not follow the rules of the road either and walk into traffic like they have some force field! Cross at the cross walks not in the middle of traffic. !!! ride your bike when and where you should. Yes drivers share the road but im sirry mr spandex biker you do not belong in the middle of the damn road.
if everyone knew AND followed the rules then less accidents would occur!

Plus when everyone is forced to have an EV and the power grid fails when they try to charge them .... welcome to the new power provider .... GOV-Power, your friendly monopoly of power! Since they can't have the power grid down and they will Nationalize all the power companies for the sake if National Security......

boy i think i need a tin foil hat now!

I got Starlink! Seeing download speeds of up to 204mbps here in southern New Mexico. This post was made via Starlink LOL.

Our tour is almost over and we’re moving back to Virginia this fall. This is a game changer for us rural folk. Our property in Marshall, VA literally has no viable internet options besides one bar of cellular or horrible Hughes net.

Elon recently put a coverage map on the Starlink website. Coverage should be coming to Virginia in 2023. You can order the equipment now if you say it’s for RV use.

We got Starlink about two months ago. So far, it's been a bit meh. Haven't cancelled our terrestrial wireless yet.

The wife says it drops frequently enough to make it not viable for work video conferencing. So now we're paying for two ISPs. Plus she's got a stack of 5G pucks when the terrestrial wireless goes down. Which is at least 1x or 2x per month for hours or days.

I think Starlink isn't quite there yet. But if it's the only option, then it's pretty awesome.

My plan is to use repurpose our Directv roof mount for the Starlink dish. Running the cable is going to suck so I've been putting it off.

The really s***ty thing is that I've got Verizon fiber up at the street, but they refuse to connect any residential accounts to it.

Are you in Virginia?

I’ve got a couple friends in rural Virginia that are already on Starlink. They've been pleased so far. They’ve not reported those issues. One of them is totally reliant upon video conferencing.

Great data point considering that Starlink service is technically not available for most of the Eastern US yet.

Elon is launching more satellites every few weeks now.

Starlink has been in VA for at least three months. Probably longer.

No, what I’m saying is if you’re in Virginia you probably don’t have full coverage until SpaceX puts more birds over the Eastern US. Most people in Virginia can’t order Starlink unless they use an address that’s in an area with coverage. Maybe you’re in one of the few spots in VA that has coverage?
