I just took my Tacoma over to Priority Toyota to see if they'll replace a piece of window trim under warranty. Checked out the BMW Supra they had in the lobby with a $15k "market adjustment" then walked over and looked at the new Sienna. Saw this on the sticker....wtf?! Who's paying $7k over MSRP for an effing minivan?

It’s amazing what things are going for. We are needing to replace the family ride and were going to go with a 4 runner. But they are wanting high 40- low 50s for used ones. It’s nutz

Thats stupid. All used cars are. I was looking for an 5-9 year old corolla/camry to use as a DD and would've had to have come up with an average of $7-$10k cash (no financing for this one).
Ended up with a 1 owner ford fusion from a good friends step dad, because price was absolutely right, even for a Ford.
I thought I read somewhere on here that Toyota has been stock piling chips so as to stay ahead of the world wide shortage?

It did say 35 MPG for the Sienna though. All of them are hybrids now. My wife's 2013 Sienna gets ~16 mpg. We're hoping to keep it running until at least half the kids are driving age so 6 more years or so. Maybe people will be pining for non-hybrids by then and I can sell it for more than I paid. :bounce::grinpimp:

Ours is a 13 as well. She wants to upgrade but man..... rough time to do that.

PSA - Rotate Your Tires!

I stopped to help a guy on 29 today who was pulled half off the road at 4:30pm with his Jetta on a jack and was madly kicking at the DS rear tire. I figured if nothing else, I had a tarp he could lay on so his dress/work clothes wouldn't get ruined.

Sure enough, my intuition was correct; he tells me, "I got this 2001 Jetta TDI a couple years ago for my 47-mile commute and the wheel won't come off". He'd never rotated tires. Damn wheel was stuck to the rotor. All I had with me that might help was a folded up gray tarp (that now has holes in it) and my trailer hitch mount. We went to town on that wheel using the tarp as a barrier from the hitch mount blows. Popped right off after a couple smacks.

Karma/JV = +1.

Oh yeah... I didn't post up for a Bone breakfast this trip because I arrived Sunday evening and leave Thursday. Maybe we can make July work around my Coal Mine Cruiser Classic schedule.

Cambered for better control...?

Either can’t drive and tagged the curbs or put 2000 lbs of crap on a trailer rated for 800 lbs like most people do.

Pretty amazing 1st hand account of the SA attack and 70 Series build.

That's really neat it's not too often you see a detailed description of after actions on up armored vehicles in the open. that stuff is usually proprietary and hush hush.

I can't believe he sat in the front seat and demo'd a round hitting right in front of his face.... on a windshield that had already taken 5 rounds.

That surprised me for sure. I would have noped out after a round or two of previous hits
