I would recommend Rockauto.com for brake parts, more options and pretty fast shipping.
I would also suggest the empty accessory lamp socket on the RH kick panel as a better power supply for the lighter. The dome circuit is not built to handle potential loads and current draw that may be introduced.
Great looking Cruiser!

Nice job, you might find clips and small bits in a yard, for the breaks read a lot because it is a big pile of work (also birfs)
It is the dreadful "while I was there" doctrine, beware when it shows up because it can smash and knockout

I might have damaged the thread of the caliper and needed helicoil (or that other thing) so you might be able to clean them before turning but no access because the disk is 2 mm in front of the rear thread.

Anyway al lot of pictures here:
:( gosh that was a failure when I added 23 pictures in one post:
The Dutch stole all 5-speed diesels!

Here is more in the picture storage:

Thanks a bunch Gents! It's been awhile cause a lot has been going on. My parents are moving out to AK to make a long story short and leaving me alone in nc with my cruiser who has contracted a few more problems....
Seems that my master cylinder is going bad as my brakes are getting soft... so I have to pump them for pressure(but no leakage).
At the same time I didnt pass inspection because of the "tampering" inspection that noticed my un-hooked smog pump.:bang:

On the bright side. I got a roof rack from Gamiviti that looks killer.

What it looks like with the roof rack....

and had a chance the other weekend to go on the Blue Ridge during the peak fall colors. Perfect.

Easiest just to replace the entire thing not just the reservoir. Really simple job and shouldn't take more than a few hours. Get a good set of box end wrenches for the hard brake lines. Other than that it is disconnecting a few lines and then removing the brake master. Bench bleed the master on the truck to purge all the air from the lines and then bleed the brakes completely.

I would just buy the whole set already assembled as it will save you the hassle of trying to get the reservoir connected and what not. Let me see if I can find a part number for you.

Brake Master Cylinder Toyota P/N #47201-60130 and #47201-60220
(Beck Arnley #0728587 ~$100, Aisin/Advics # BMT022 ~$88, AISIN $75.50 - Cruiseroutfitters)

I believe when I did mine I went with the AISIN which is the OE manufacturer. Current price for that one on Amazon is $116. Call Onur (@beno) to get price and availability of OEM. Notes above are old from a few years ago so prices aren't right.

Nice truck
My favorite color

So are you in NC or CA, as truck shows different plates at diff times?

I was hoping for a fix without having to buy anything else. I already took out the piece. Napa's are nice too cause they're basically refurbished.
I'll look into though, thanks
