I have a new top that will be going on but I need to get it sand blasted and painted first so I put the old top back on for now . More so to get it out of my way 🤦🏻‍♂️. I think it looks much better with the top on 👍. What a pain to put on by myself though 👎

I am also going to redo the wrap at some point soon . I dont like how the rear looks . Get rid of the TRD it looks like crap .

This thing is so cool!

Your metal finishing skills are top notch. I like how you used a DA before welding on those coilovers mounts 👍🏻
Metal is new to me self taught learning as i go . But thank you .

So when I ran the last Rubicon trip and switched back to a carb. , I never hooked up the electric fan since it was tied into the sniper . The hottest I ever got was 212 and for a sbc that is ok ish . So today I pulled that off and put the mesh grill back. Much better .

Been a crappy week and been kinda depressed 😞. So I ordered more parts cus that is always fun 😳. And I figured I would get back to work on my doors . This will be a good project to keep me busy for a few days Elsinore thinks differently 😃

Since I have never done anything like this I am certainly open to suggestions 🤷‍♂️. I had some sheet metal so I guess I will just cut some pieces 🤔. Maybe make a couple U shape pieces to push in first to keep the opening even 🤔. I duno

I am raising my coilovers 1.5 inches. And still kicking around a spare tire 🤔. It’s a lot of weight back there and I don’t really see myself ever needing but who knows. It sticks out about 2.75 inches 🤔. I can shift the cooler over 1.5 inches. And bring the tire in more 🤔. Or take the cooler off and just run 2 fuel cans. And run my ARB fridge inside 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.

You never need a spare until you don't have one. What do you use to cut your sheet metal?
I just put some blue tape down and used an angle grinder. Use the factory edge out and will grind the inside to fit the oe door

Doors looking good, I am debating doing what you are with my doors or ordering Topnaults 1/2 doors.

I had a good extra set of doors They just had the wrong tops on them so they will make good half doors . I was not that excited about the Topnaults after seeing the first pics of them , I even reached out to TP and asked how are you supposed to get the hardware in the doors ? But now i am seeing the doors with the holes in them So that is good . If i did not have a set already i would get the TP doors i think

Some stuff showed up today. More on the way 🤭

So on the inside I think where the window regulator went I will make a plate that bolts on and have a tube so it is a drink holder 🤔
