Fast forward to December, installed the winch, wireless remote is a nice feature.

Next up I need to figure out what is needed for a 2nd battery. I installed one in my 80 series and later regretted the way that I routed wires and such, I think I was in a hurry. The Slee 2nd battery holder seems to be the perfect match. I don't see myself installing OBA, but it's nice that I could if I ever decided to.

I was disappointed to see what the wait time is for a Gobi rack, they said it wouldn't be ready until the end of April if ordered before Christmas. I need to have another look at roof rack options so I can figure out what way to go.

Still need to order a wheel and tire for the spare.

Installed new inner and outer bearings, seals on the front. A little bit of time but not too difficult.

Placing an order with sleep today for second battery.

Had sourced a spare wheel but ended up getting one from down under. Left Aussie world on Thursday, arrived today, paid the price though. Ordered a spare cooper tire to put on it and will hopefully get it mounted tomorrow. Next up, finish the spare tire piece of the ARB bumper and get it mounted there.

Also ordered the five caps from Dubai that I needed for my Aussie Land Cruiser wheels, that will finish up my wheels & tires.

Received my @sleeoffroad sliders, they're still wrapped but I am excited to open them up and get them installed.

The Slee sliders are quality. Color matching or keeping them black for easy touch-ups?
I want to color match but I’m not going to. Touch-ups would be a pain.

Determined that ball joints are going bad on left. Time to install the Slee UCA’s and a new set of OEM LCA’s. Pay the price, do it right. Do both sides and mark tgat off the list.

Wasn’t planning on installing but it’s necessary now. So the Slee sliders have to wait a few days.

Replaced lower control arms with oem. Replaced uppers with Slee.
Had alignment completed.

No squeak, much better handling too!

Decided to paint match my @sleeoffroad sliders.

Slee sliders were the perfect fit!

So, I've been contemplating seats for a while now. LCH, lseat, or my new find thanks to @kelly saad Leatherseats.com. I've been sold on lseat for a long time and have used them for new leather on at least 6 or 7 cruisers that I've built. Looking at the job that Kelly Saad did on his seats I gave leatherseats.com a call today. I'm surprised they didn't just hang up on me after all of my questions. I'm looking for a "now" solution but at the same time I want a go-to company that I can rely on long term for quality leather. So, too many $$$$ later I have a nice set of leather seat covers being created for me and hope to have them in 2 or 3 weeks. Super excited to get them installed. I ordered new bottom and back cushions from Toyota today, might as well get them replaced now. I don't want to get the leather done and then regret not doing the cushions.

Next up - There are some nice racks for 100's out there, but none are exactly what I want. So, I'm taking the factory roof rack and looking at ways that I can make a new rack. As I've often said, there are many right answers but only 1 correct one. Lots of great racks, but none that offer everything I want. More to come...

The color matched ARB rear bumper is excellent. I finally sourced my spare wheel from Australia. Expensive to ship. Matched it up with the right Cooper tire and got it mounted. Looking better every day!

Dropped the cruiser off to have brand new cushions, leatherseat.com seats, and brand new OEM carpet out in. There goes $3900. Woohoo!

I contemplated what to do with the speaker covers, read a lot of threads, decided I'm going to replace with new OEM. Might as well. Ordered them yesterday, should be at the shop by time I get there this morning. Also ordered the footpad, not sure what the PO did with it but I need one.
