Front has too much droop. Will adjust the 30MM nut again tomorrow.

Waiting on the RHS tire carrier and the LHS gas can carrier to come in. Then they get painted and installed.

Disappointed to find out the the ivory OEM carpet is no longer available. I figured it would be expensive but at least available. Not sure what my options are on carpet now.

From a quick search it looks like the front and rear section are still available in all colors, expensive though.

I LOVE that color! (I had a Dune Beige 80). Nice build up!!!

Finished Slee heavy OME install today.

And... here she is.

Not knowing all of the vehicles previous history one of the first thing to do is to get the timing belt completed. Along with that, all of the idler pulleys, serpentine belt, water pump, thermostat, cam seals, crank seal, tensioner, fan bracket, hoses, fan clutch, and even a new fan blade. Ordered all new OEM parts just because.

Before I begin. Dirty, unknown.

Wow, that battery is nasty! Ordered a marine gel battery. Radiator looks to be rather new although very dusty there are no dings, etc. so I'm not sure if I'm going to replace it. If I did I'd go with OEM, still have a few hours to decide. Finished up the cam seals and crank seal yesterday. Installed the water pump. Picked up a mini steam machine with a tiny nozzle, maybe too tiny. Spray simple green and let it sit for 10 minutes, then steam clean and things come out pretty good. Might need a 2nd attempt on some of the stuff. 1 piece at a time, time consuming but precise. Not easy to go from nasty to sexy sometimes.

While I'm working on the timing belt and other items I finally had a mental breakdown and ordered the Toyota OEM carpet to replace the existing. $850 later and I feel a little dizzy. For those who need their own, Part Number 58510-60Y10-A0. YMMV :-)

Yeah dude, would love to get together. I'm in the beginning stages of cleaning up my Cruiser as well... Are you doing the timing belt right now? If you need a hand with anything give me a shout. I'm going to need to replace some cooling items myself soon and need all the knowledge I can gather. At the very least we need another Biff Burger beer!

Finished up timing belt and all the other “while you’re in there” items. The belt I took off was like new so I’ll keep it as a spare maybe...

Did a lot of cleaning, some more to do.

Oh, and bought a nice new battery gor her too.

One thing I like to buy and use are the clamps from Toyota.

New OEM Fan blade. I figured at 14 years a replacement is warranted. I was surprised that it wasn’t the least bit brittle. Keep it for someone else maybe.

Next up I will reach out to @beno to see if he can get me a matching spare.

Finished the interior. Final touch was a new steering wheel.
