hey bud how heavy is that old coleman camper do you think? I've been looking for something to pull with my 89 FJ62 converted to five speed manual.
Don’t recall, maybe 1200-1500 lbs. empty.

Edit: nada guide says 990 lbs for the 82 Coleman redwood.

426s are awesome for offroad camping trips. I have a 426D you can have if you come through Northern California or want to mud ship.

If that Cruiserdrew 426 works half as good as the 413 he hooked me up with, it’ll practically pump and light itself for you...

MSR Piezo Ignitor $10 at Cabelas

Takes 1 minute to Wrap in Velcro. Never look for lighter/match again.

They are also very long lived. One less thing to worry about.

I found a cool old timer not too far from me (Newaygo MI) that restores lanterns. He restored this one that belonged to my grandfather. Not sure the date, the numbers are wierd on it. He guessed late 40's or early 50's. It looks so nice I think it will just hang up and look pretty and I'll use my 70's era workhorse for camping.

On the hunt for a stove now. Love this thread.

Can't see the bottom we'll on my phone - but with the screw in pump is that a pre-war "C"? Or even a B. In any event nice lantern and nice story.

You want me to shoot you some pics of Coleman stoves my Friend has for $10 each? I'm at about 10 stoves so I gotta stop.

Heck yeah. I think I want 2. A smallish 2 burner and larger 3 burner. Don't know model numbers. Well functioning with lots of patina is perfect. Thanks

I'm not a Coleman guy... is this anything of interest?

Those are total junk. I’ll take it :grinpimp:

Mark-If you have any interest in the coolness of gasoline powered Coleman lanterns, this is a great one to start with. A good clean up and new generator and it will work for decades. It probably works now.

FJ60Cam will give it a good home - so send it to him if you don't like it.

Big shout out to @woytovich ... this 3/66 beauty arrived at my doorstep today! Once it cools off a little, I’ll go through it and fire it up. Likely won’t take much.

Primus?

Neighbor was moving and gave me his Coleman cooler. From 2015 has a couple dents but free is free!

Here’s a stove I got from my father in law a while back. He bought it new in ‘73, used it one time put it back in the box and never used it again. Has the original box and paperwork.

Now THAT is a score!

Another score from this past weekend. Little backstory, I grew up in a very isolated small town in WV. The whole town almost got washed away by a flood in ‘77. The whole area went weeks without power and water. After things got back to normal my grandfather ordered these at the local hardware store in case it ever happened again, he put them in his basement and they’ve been there ever since. He died in ‘87 and I had no idea they were down there. While visiting my 89 year old grandmother this weekend she told me with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth “to get my ass down there and go through some of that s*** in the basement “ LOL

I was super stoked to find both of these brand new still in the box.
