Thought beer camp was pretty good as well, but maybe i prefer a hoppy lager.

I will say this green flash specimen was tasty. Not normally a session ipa (kinda defeats the purpose right  ) but this was a tasty and drinkable selection. I do favor the citrus and it was apparent and well balanced.

Anyone tried big flat's new premium lager ??? :grinpimp:

Haha. Ok that's scary. How'd ya know ?

And 24 26oz for 10? That's nuts
I mean it does suck. But still

I'm pretty sure that was 24 16oz for 9...haha, just messing with you.

Enjoyed some of these tonight.

The enjoy by is really good ... Still have 4 or 5 in the fridge ....

I went on a little of a binge the last two weeks while cooped up in the hotel in Morrisville with the Bottle Revolution like 80 feet away and snow drifts outside . . .

Its a little expensive, but with taps and good guys selling the beer, its easy to pick up plenty to drink :)

lets see . . . new stuff to me:

Burial Surf Wax - - Really nice balanced beer - could drink it all day and yet it was wonderfully hoppy.
Unknown Chasing the Dragon
Evil Twin Molotav Lite - - "Meh - - maybe was expecting more with all the hype, maybe the 'heavy' version is a lot better?"

I had a 22oz that I can't remember the brewery, but was probably my favorite ultra high IBU beer ever - - little green hop-headed guy on the label? Tasted like a really well balanced and fruitier version of Hop Stoopid or Bells Hopslam. From a NC brewery.

Damn, I live in Morrisville less than 5mins away. Wish I'd have known, could have had you over or grabbed a brew with you. FYI, there is Triangle wine less than 5mins from Bottle Rev, which is, IMO, far superior.

Thanks mtweller! Hope to catch up when we get moved down.

Unless I'm missing something Triangle wine isn't "less than 5 min" from Bottle Revolution. Had me all excited. I'm quite loyal to @btlrev mostly because it's stumbling distance from work.

been off the board for a bit, work and family issues have eaten up every minute of my days but I have managed to squeeze some good brews in to keep my sanity in check.

Locally I drank this

Hop Stoopid.... great hoppy brew from Lagunitas

75 Minute IPA.... quite a strange but tasty one from Dogfish Head

Last week I went to Seattle for a couple reasons..... one of them was to help my sister with her brand new twins while she is going through issues..... strangely enough my dad (who lives in Charlotte) showed up at the same time so we managed to get a few hours every day to catch some brewery tastings.

First place I went to was Elliot Bay Brewing Company.

No real pics of the beer but tried most of their brews and their guest taps.... If you are in the seattle area I highly recommend them.

North West Brewing Company was also good and their hoppy bitch ipa is quite a great IPA

Snoqualmie Brewery was also damn good

Hit up the Attic Bar at Snoqualmie Falls.... where I paired one of the best beers out there.

With the best view i've ever seen at a bar.

Andrea had this waiting for me when I got back

Not the greatest from Ass Clown

11006408_10152809387387875_8194390888515567666_n.jpg

And I had this waiting in the mail. I had this on tap a few years back and have been craving it ever since..... but since it is 17.4% alcohol Avery cannot sell it here so I had to reach out of state and get it shipped here. Most likely my favorite Stout ever and a Devil of a beer.

Nice to have 2 nights off to do stuff.

Last friday we had friends over to celebrate Friday the 13th and watch some horror movies. Had some good brews to go along with that.
