Al, the difficulty of obtaining this beer is legendary. Other than going up to Vermont, or having someone go to Vermont for you, is there an easy way to get hold of it?

Those are the only 2 options from what I've heard..... And even if you go to Vermont it is still hard to find.... Pretty much have to know a guy type of thing

Well what can I say? I'm lucky enough to know a guy and have a firstborn + fat dog to trade for a pint!

An IPA lovers IPA is what I was thinking of while drinking it. Delicious, drinkable, beautiful, craveable. It's very, very good.

Huge thanks to Al, he's legendary as you all know. Seriously, thank you brother.

Now how do we get more?

Edit to add: Thanks for the pint glass too! It's awesome.

I was told by Sam's Bottle Shop here in Durham that Epic brewing no longer distributes to North Carolina, so go buy all the Epic you can find. @mtweller specifically, go buy any hopulent left at the Wine Co!

Picked this up as it's the last hoppy brew from Epic that Sam's had.

A very interesting smoke beer. Smelled and tasted like a camp fire. Probably wont have another.

Needless to say I was lucky to enjoy some really good beer. My wife kicks ass!

Damn only 3 I've had before..... Ask Cinder when she is sending my care package ;)

Xmas is just around the corner!

Well that and I have plenty of beer debt I need to repay to you. :)

I had to look and see if anybody had posted this beer yet. Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale is one I tried about a year ago, it was excellent. I usually go for IPAs and Stouts, but this was a great way of changing it up a bit.

I checked the distribution of the beer. Unfortunately, it isn't available in NC yet, hopefully soon. If you find yourself in Tennessee, you should be able to find it pretty easily. SC also has distribution.

Anyway, good stuff. Give it a try if you see it.

Great brew from Epic.... its strange, when I went to their brewery I really didn't like any of their beers but lately i've changed my mind about them.

Unless you unfortunately stop in Mountain City to pick up beer ;) Live and learn on my end.....

Been searching for this for a while since I heard they were being released out here.

Great Cali double IPA.... very well priced and holds its own with any IPA out there.

If anyone is near downtown Raleigh. Tupelo Honey Cafe on Oberlin @ Cameron village just opened and for a limited time they have 18 different versions of Stone Brewing beers on tap and some of the best farm to face low country food you've ever had. #hoplife

Sounds like we need to get lunch there this weekend.

Let's do that. Lemme check with the boss about my social calendar.

For anyone in the RDU area, my buddy Jason just opened a Bottle Revolution on Chapel Hill rd. Really cool location with more beers on tap than the Lake Boone location. Definitely check it out if you're in the area
