LMFAO.... I saw that a few days ago on a friends FB page and thought I should send a picture to John Vee saying this beer reminds me of him. I now want one.

I'm guessing the follow up will be stupid sexy flanders

Having enjoyed a few Prarie Artisan stouts recently i tried their DIPA. Continued my run of not so favorite choices. Easy drinking for a double but had a wheat/heffe taste which i dont care for, but by the third one not so bad i guess ;)

The selection of stouts the next night for NYE was much more appreciable for a cold night in the mtns although i only managed one... party animal i know. But turns out not so bad for breakfast after all.

Notible mention to:
Tropical Lightning from wilmimgton brewing company

HopBeard mountain man from Fonta Flora in Morganton. Many thanks to Cruiserforlife for the suggestion.

Both excellent selections.

Are they bottling and selling the Tropical Lightning?
I've had it on Tap there. I was pleasant surprised by it. My FIL got a pint first. With the name such as it is I was expecting some god awful passion fruit blend, but after trying his, I had to get my own.

I had a draft on the guest tap in Morganton at Fonta Flora

580 Craft Brewing here in Pittsboro was running some Six Points beer on tap and so I bought the two cans they had on the shelf for the heck of it.

I have only tried the Resin beer - it was pretty good.

Sounds like, I need to try Fonta Flora and Tropical Lightening!

Had the NoDa Hop Drop and Role on tap and it was much better than in the bottle.

From NoDa's site:

Fonta Flora and Wilmington are hard breweries to get here in the east side of the Piedmont . . it sounds like. I had to settle for some Prairie Standard in the bottle tonight. Will try it tomorrow.

Had the Bells Expedition Stout ("ok") and the Southern Pines' Texas Rig (average) on Tap. We are moving going from 8 taps to 12 at 580 in the next month. Tomorrow night is a Six Point tap take over - with 4 beers - - may have to try that.

A few recently from the past month that I never posted up

I like the way you think

@JohnVee is that your local teeter?? that one always gets the best prices on beer. I haven't tried most of those but he goose IPA is a solid go to.

I can vouch for the experimental as well

It changes seasonally. Should have said this summers was good. IPL

Nope. Arboretum HT. Haven't been to Cotswold in months. Packed, of course, and I only had a basket so I only grabbed one 12pk. All of the boxes had some form of damage.

Saw this yesterday, I really like most Terrapins, but couldn't bring myself to try it. Not that big of a milk stout fan and the chocolate would put me over the edge, I think. Can't remember if someone posted this one earlier last month.

Missed the concert this year so will have to settle for the beer.

Same...I had no idea. Off to find it. I love that beer.

Seriously fond memories drinking at the retail place in Charlotte with you watching soccer!
