I give up. A glass top table frame with one leg?
We had a glass top table in our college apartment, no need for that anymore. My heart would explode.
The front of the frame will have an extension to lengthen the sleeping platform. This will allow the front seats to fully recline when it’s not in use. I’ll need to get a set of locking hinged connectors to make it happen.

I’m too close to the ceiling and feel like I’m in a coffin. Nfw I could sleep like this. It didn’t seem so bad the other day during the test fit, but this won’t work.
I’m going to shorten the legs considerably, so the platform is just above the wheel wells. The cooler will live on top of the platform which will be fine for solo car camping. If Arthur is along I’ll move the cooler from the platform, to the front seat, for the night.

Like Scrappy, I like having the cooler in the vicinity of the back seat for easy access and loading/unloading. Your little camp stove setup would be nice to have where you had the cooler in one of the previous pics.
This has been one of my negatives of sleeping in a vehicle. I like to be able to at least sit up without smacking my head.

100 % with you on the space.
I’ll drop the legs on the platform and it’ll work fine for the few times I will sleep in it. Mainly pig parties and sss’s.
My other car camper (sprinter) has me spoiled when it comes to headroom. It is tough to go back after having all this space, but like I tell Arthur sometimes it is ok to step out of your comfort zone.
