Dan and I were putting a few Keystone's back over dinner this evening and we got onto the conversation of WWII generals--I had no idea that the 5 star general was created during WWII to compensate for the lack of a "Field Marshall" level commander on the field. It was an edifying conversation.

Dan is still committed to picking the winner on Christmas Day....as this picture will well attest: notice the tie....bah humbug!
