Yesterday, while France is in confinement, the building housing Teseven burnt down.

For those who don't know, Teseven is a French 40-series restauration company that recently sold one for more than 100k€ on auction: Rétromobile 2020 | Vente n°3980 | Lot n°89 | Artcurial
Some may know them for the stainless body they were selling at start.

They were still posting new projects on their Facebook page 2 days ago: Teseven Toyota Classic

I can say I'm not a big fan of how they do their restaurations and the bling around it but I must say they did not deserved that 😢

We can only see what is outside but the best ones and the most advanced projects were probably inside 😭

No info on how this happened at this time.
3 craftsman companies were housed in this building and it seems people were working inside at time the fire started (but don't know from which companies).

"A fire broke out this Thursday, April 9 at the start of the afternoon. An industrial building in the Sidobre Vals et Plateaux community in the Tarn caught fire shortly before 1.20 p.m. In total, 1,500 square meters were completely set on fire. On the spot, road from Castres to Vabre, 52 firefighters were still trying to completely extinguish the fire around 3:30 p.m. Half of the premises collapsed.

Presence of gas cylinders
The building that caught fire is called "The relay workshops". It brings together several companies including a carpentry and a body shop. The Tarn firefighters found gas and acetylene bottles there as well as an oil tank. The firefighters were able to feed their equipment by suction on the nearby stream.

All the workers present on the site left the building before the arrival of the firemen."

Dang. That is horrible. Also, I am waiting for a 1/2 tub from them...

Totally sucks but I'm glad to hear that everyone got out ok. Any word on what started the fire?

This is so sad, but glad to see everyone is out and safe.

Let us know if you hear anything.
Sucks, I have seen their stainless tub and the new standard tub but did not get to see that one up close . Both were by far miles above any of the cobbled together South American garbage that gets foisted on the land cruiser crowd as a good tub.
I hope they are able to recover from this and continue their work.
