So on to next project, Turbo in april/may. Anyone have experience with the frp hoods with the intercooler ? Worth it? or just cut mine with a hood scoop kit? Opinions?

I ordered an intercooler for my 80 series conversion from PDI in Australia. I was considering doing a hood scoop but read a lot of good reviews about this front mount product. I believe they make one for the 1HZ 75 series as well. The website shows HZJ75 but a lot of the product description is about the HDJ79.

The kit is around $1500 landed in the USA.

Ive seen some front, but always at the expense of the ac condenser. Does this one allow retention of AC
