I just assumed Andrew was on a tight budget after installing that army surplus pup tent on his roof.A 10 yard roll is insufficient in any event
This is a sweet build... cool to see how far it's come in 3.5 years. I'm going to be similarly pacing myself I think. That Alucab tent is amazing... have you camped in it yet?

Thanks Honger, not officially on a trip, but i did nap in it. I definitely need some sort of heater (buddy/diesel) given the recent temps in the 30s F, i got in my 20 degree f bag and it wasnt bad at all, until the temp started to dip into the low 20s.... then i went inside

Hey Andrew, good to watch the timelapse of the Hercules install.
It's been the longest wait since I paid for my Hercules, and will be (hopefully) the first one fitted in Dubai, UAE. My main issue now is, because no one has fitted one, I'm getting ridiculous install prices.
How long did it take the guys to fit it, from a stripped state? I'm getting quoted three days, which seems a bit far fetched.
Also, could you let me know the distance between the roof rail mounting channels? Now working on how much space I have for solar.

I think 3-4 days, im sure you can do it in 2 if its priority

Truck is in GA, maybe @Gun Runner 5 can help as i dont recall, otherwise ill get it back in a few weeks.

A lot of updates missing from the build. First is picking up the troopy this weekend from Odd Iron offroad after the turbo install and other odds and ends. Ill be posting details in the next week or so. First, never trust the likes of @Gun Runner 5 alone with any vehicle. Look at this nonsense :-D

I wore latex gloves so you can not prove anything. 
What's your problem, you don't like unicorns? I think it looks great. I'm only sad that Charles did not swipe the arm rests and save them for me when I go visit the red clay state.
Nice armrest! That drive home was probably a good test. Good location and having a drink there doesn't get in the way?

took a bit to find the correct positions so i didnt hit the drink when turning on my blinkers. Perfect now
