Have a 2000 LX with 215k. Started it and it immediately died. Tryed restarting and it would only click. AAA came and jumped it and it started easily but would not idle. They said the alternator checked ok. After reving the engine for a few minutes it finally started idling on its own. I drove it home and turned it off and tried restarting and it started and ran fine. There are no “check engine“ or service lights on. A few months ago I did have some service lights come on that had something to do with the throttle body but they went off after about about a day and did not have any issues. Any ideas what May have caused the no start / idling issue?
Thank you.

Load test the battery. This cold weather is going to send marginal batteries to the grave.

Start with the cheap options and firstly drain some fuel from your tank to check for water and then replace the fuel and air filter. Also, check your spark plugs are good and tight.
