Hello guys, another stupid question. Can we retrofit radar cruise control onto cars with regular cruise control? Specifically Japanese spec LC200. Thanks.

Also another one, the A/C in the Center console does not have good/proper air flow compared to the A/C vents(in any fan level) any ideas?

I know nothing about the Japanese spec 200, but I would say there is no "reasonable" way to retrofit the radar cruise control in a '17 to any year that does not have it.

OK, here's my stupid question, because I've searched this and other forums and found nothing:

How does one remove the rear entertainment screens from the back of the seats of a 2016 LC? Any detailed description or photos?

Where, precisely, is the air intake inlet?

On the passenger side (right) between the fender liner and the engine compartment panel.

Comment: it is a cold air intake.

HTH

Opinions on these CV angles? Concerned about the right side and wondering if I should go with the diff drop.

There are some pics in this thread. Pry off the cover over the nuts, remove the 3 nuts, and unplug the 2 harnesses. Reinstall the center nut with the ground wire, in case that's important to have. It's very easy to remove them, but they leave a huge ugly hole in the seatback. Very frustrating. I was working on a wood cover for the holes, but it turned cold again and I'm going to wait a couple of months to go back at it. If there were a commercial solution for that gaping hole, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. One member had a custom shop in OR fabricate some, but that member has not been back on MUD since October and when I contacted the shop they didn't remember doing it.

16 LC - does it come with covers for rear DVD screens?

Has anyone ever thrown a steering angle sensor code? I was having my alignment done on my 13 200 series at the local Firestone and upon leaving the vehicle would come out of alignment and a light on the dash would flash and eventually stay on. After three successive failed alignments at Firestone I took it to the dealer and they are having the same problems. The steering wheel is off 20 degrees to the left and will intermittently correct itself while driving. The dealer is now telling me they think it might be an issue with my suspension. I am currently running a BP 51 setup with 5000 miles on it(only non stock item they can point to). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BAB FJ - Yes my truck had that until they got the alignment right. Do you have an aftermarket UCA to get the alignment back to spec? Based on your description it sounds like they are way off. Make them show you the alignment sheet specs.

I'm ignorant, but for me, these don't pass the eyeball test. Way too much angle for my liking.

I would do a diff drop kit.

There is member here on the forum who makes em. @aMiR904

I've been waiting over a year for amir to make more.

Tundra kits work, or try marks 4wd.

My SQOD - Will the ARB roof awning mount to the stock 200-series roof rack? Will all awning sizes work? Thx.

Tire Holder.webp

Does anyone have a source for a spare tire mount similar to above? I have a stock rear bumper.

Do anyone know if there is an easy way to remove the fake chrome accent on the bottom of the door and the back land cruiser chrome piece?

I'd love to paint them and knowing my painting skills the truck better be separated from those pieces ;-)

I don't have those on my 2008, but I believe there are holes in the body panel under those accents. You can remove the accent panels, but you might need to replace the sticky stuff, and you might break a plastic clip or two that goes into the holes. Toyota will sell you the clips for cheap though...
