Opinions on the adjustable links kit for the rear axle offered by Total Chaos (upper and lower rear control arms and panhard bars)? I just installed the Ironman lift and the shift of the rear axle to the DS is definitely noticeable. Maybe an inch at least? I see Marks 4WD in Australia sells the adjustable pan hard bar alone. I might just do that unless you all have other suggestions. Truck rides great, no vibrations, pulls, etc.

Hello everyone, I am looking to install bf ko2 285/70/17 tyre on my lc 200 , is they are any long term issue or problem that will happen for the car ? ( excactly on gearbox , suspension etc)

None that Toyota can find - they recommend them for use on the Land Cruiser:

I Ordered the Panhard from Trail Taylor this week - hope to have it on next week and share feedback.

What does a Panhard do exactly? Why should it be adjustable? I think its related to lifted suspensions, but would love an overview!

Google says...
A Panhard rod (also called Panhard bar or track bar) is a suspension link that provides lateral location of the axle. Originally invented by the Panhard automobile company of France in the early twentieth century, this device has been widely used ever since.

That is probably why it is adjustable..., axle lateral location adjustment. Good question!

EDIT:
I found this too... it makes more sense than just a definition:

Has anyone tried to re-aim their windshield washer jets? Mine don't diffuse enough and hit the windshield too low. I have tried to gently move them with a pin, but they didn't move and I don't want to apply too much force. They actually look as though they aren't designed to move.

Thoughts? Thanks!

Got a SQOD, my replacement struts will be changed this week, do the shop need to fiddle with the KDSS? or can they do it without having to open the valves?

I don't think you can do it without opening the valves. The reason is that you have to disconnect the sway bar end links. Even with opening the valves, it is still a bit of pain to disconnect/reconnect these.

If your shop has never done it before, just tell them to open both valves 3 turns (no more) and close once everything is back on the ground and settled. Many of us have also figured out that if you disconnect the sway bar completely and loosen the lower control arm bolts, it makes changing struts MUCH easier.

Thanks, I will let them know, they have done it in the past to install the BP-51, but since it's the only LC they have ever done, I want to come with the proper instruction. Like last time I'll print the ARB instruction for them.

16. CLOSE STABILIZER CONTROL WITH ACCUMULATOR HOUSING SHUTTER VALVE
Using a 5 mm hexagon socket wrench, tighten the lower and upper chamber shutter valves of the stabilizer control with accumulator housing.
  1. Torque:
14 N*m{ 143 kgf*cm , 10 ft.*lbf } - I always remind my shop to not over torque the valves shut. To strip one out would be a nightmare.

How can I get the tire pressure light to go out now that I've removed my spare ( will be doing the Slee rear once it's avail....) ??

I don't mind the light really but it means I can't see the pressure readings for the other for some reason....

thoughts... ?

I can't remember if the system can be satisfied with only 4 TPMS readings out of the 5 - if the 5th is out of range - like in your basement, if you have those in Texas. I went through the same deal for a short while and have forgotten the outcome.

can't you just throw the sensor in your truck:)? light will still be on but you will be able to see your pressures!

A lot of the Tundra guys were throwing the sensors in a pressure vessel and tossing it under the back seat.
Hokey redneck engineering solution, but it worked.
