That's the remote jump terminal on the 5.3. That is for side-post batteries where you can't get cables to the terminals.

It will go over on the passenger side, it has a sharp bend and the MAF mounts farther up, we have it temp mounted like you see until we get ready to mount the air cleaner, have not decided on whether to run the stock huge one or an aftermarket.
