She's all 80 series, except the long list of after market goodies. but she gets the job done.
Were newbies to SAS but looking forward to meeting all the great people from the land Cruiser & mud community.
We leave the Central Coast early AM Friday going through Bakersfield then Tehachapi across the 40 and then up the 15. We will make our way to the Hurricane KOA before we stop for the night. From there we continue up to Green River on Saturday, then on Sunday we arrive in Ouray  :)
Pm me if any one wants to join us along the way, happy to share my number.
Big shout out to all folks that make the event happen, special thanks to Casey for getting me signed up and Ron @Road Apple for getting me off my but to go ;)

@Broski Extremely good looking rig you’ve got there.😊

So happy you’re coming to SAS @Broski !! We left Tuesday from the Bay Area and will hit the southern Utah national parks in route. We’re also SAS newbies and the family is excited to meet everyone and see the San Juan mountains from the seat of the 80 series. We’re staying in Ouray during the event, so we can bring things from town if needed. See you soon !!

First picture is from the Grand Canyon on Tuesday with some light rain and thunderstorms.

Head turner indeed. Bringing a tarp to crawl under and have beer over the goodies. My boys would love an under the rig tour.

Heading to Casey’s. Can do a mini convoy. Can meet at Racetrack at 380 and 35N. Might get there at before 1p. I will PM you my number.
Sweet. I’ll be rolling into Dallas area (or maybe Tyler) to stay the night Thursday night. I’m down to meet up with y’all and @ChickenDaddy for the ride to Casey’s. I will PM you my cell @ceylonfj40nut

@Dilspec, I made that drive sans AC once. Once. There will not be a second. I'm pretty tolerant of stupid environmental conditions but that was nuts.

Oh that’s awesome!!! You are welcome to stay with us. I will PM you my number.

I was able to book a room in Ouray for this Saturday night, so Kay and I will be in Ouray both that night and Sunday night before moving over to the KOA for Monday night. Will anyone be showing up at the KOA Saturday night? We were thinking of driving the FJ40 over to the KOA on Sunday morning to say hi to folks.

I think ol' @CenTXFJ60 may have the honor with his Frankenstein 60 build that will be present as always.
Are we just counting other Cruisers? I'm sure there are many in the dozens.

My '76 has parts from no less than 4 FJ40s, 3 FJ60's, an Isuzu NPR, a Vette, a K3500 Chevy pickup, the Japanese diesel heart of a Lincoln welding machine, a crank pulley from an old 454 Chevy, etc.

That's an interesting accumulation. I'm curious what came from the welder...
