I've often said, SLOW 71 has parts on it from all the Country. That's one of the coolest things, having stuff from so many of you guys. Without everybody's help, I'd still be staring at a body shell. This wagon is truly a community build.

From the heart... Thank You!

That's great!

Small update... The damn thing runs! Fired it up, just to see if it would. I'm pretty sure I had a Pablo moment when it lit up. Open headers in his shop... felt like the old days. Delancy sent me a rear heater motor ( Thanks Man! ), so I'll get that in Monday and then the Tuffy box gets all wired in.

Mike, the hot rod guy is going to make the exhaust, using the stainless kit I bought. The cars he builds are in magazines, so I'm thinking it should be a little bit better than my attempt. :hillbilly:

Now to find some young guy to take a running video.

Oh yeah! Queue up the Barry White...

Yeah, I need to find somebody, who knows how to make one. I've been on the farm too long. :) My Daughter can help, when she comes home.

Well, he finished the exhaust today and I drove it around the place! Oh Man, was I nervous. No leaks, but had a big air pocket in the cooling lines. Got it out and everything looks good. I've got a lot to do yet, but sure feels good to drive a 55!

There wasn't a lot of room with the PTO driveshaft in the way, so we had snake it through. I'm just glad it made it.

Here's the back pipe!

Can we see where they routed the back pipe to exit?

Pablo,

Came out right behind the rear tire, at a 45. I couldn't make up my mind on it, 45, 90, angled cut, straight cut, etc. Too many decisions.

That is nice and clean. About the only thing that bugs me about my Pig is the tailpipe routing. It just looks poorly thought out. Now I fear I am going to have to visit my local exhaust guy...
