Mine arrived downunder last week, and i got one side fitted up pretty easily! Zero issues, and a great product. Thanks @Outsane!

Brackets received. Driver's side was held in with zip ties and bottom OEM screw anchor bracket broke. Cut zip ties off, installed top holding bracket. Cut off both broken side hangers and bottom bracket flush, with my Dremmel. Sanded smooth and also cut off hooks on chassis metal bracket to avoid any interference. Installed Outsane's new bottom fix bracket. Now to place mirror in place. Had some trouble because it is a tight fit and it's tough to see around mirror while getting mirror in position to put in bottom screw. (But you want it tight to keep it snug.) Finally wedged it far enough in to get screw started. Tightening screw seemed to pull it right into position. Mirror now solid - no shaking -. Hopefully never have to pull it apart again. Passenger side next. It appears solid, but I remember having to glue or jury rig it several yrs back. I just don't trust the OEM design, considering it's age.:hmm: Will dig into it later.

Just installed mine last night on my '97 LX450. Took 10 mins and the results were exceptional!

Perfect! Just placed order.
I can't wait to take the tape off holding the mirror in place. :D

Got around to fixing the passenger side. I had previously ordered both sides and both upper and lower brackets, but only tackled the driver side. The passenger side was a mystery because it appeared solid, but I remembered having it come loose while rig was in motion and damn near having it fall and hit the ground before I could get stopped. I was on a washboard road sailing along at a pretty good clip when it happened. By myself, when it broke, and I heard it hit the door - it was dangling by the wires :nailbiting:. I remembered that, but not how I fixed it. So, I dug into it and wow, I was glad I did. I had done my own patch job and this was back around 2005, before I found Mud or even heard of the "zip tie fix". I must've used a whole tube of silicone seal on it :wtf: to hold the bottom broken support in place and cushion the rear corners of the motors assy around the metal bracket. I had even used a couple of zip ties (before somebody suggested to fix the shakey mirrors with them), but I had really snugged them tight, so it was a bear to get it apart. 1st step was to remove the bottom screw. I got kind of suspicious when it wouldn't budge with the screw removed. So after prying the mirror up and seeing the ties, I cut them and the silicone just kinda came apart in pieces when I yanked it out. Well anyway, it's held up for almost 15 yrs, but I have to admit - it could've broke again at any time, "fixed" like that. Outsane's fix on this side went in easier than the driver side, but it's just as secure, now. Got more confidence on washboard, now - at least for the mirrors ;). Thanks @Outsane for your work and making it available at a reasonable price!!!

Just installed my drivers side. Nice job printing D and P for each side. The repair clip is pure genius. The mounting on the bottom actually tightens now! I had some issues wherein the upper right was still loose but it turned out the repair clip wasn't totally seated correctly. Once I fixed that, it works great, nice job @Outsane!
