Reluctantly, selling my 85’ 60 series. Love the truck but it needs someone who has the time and mechanical knowledge to get it what it needs. Two things I don’t have.
Very clean! Very stock. Was my daily driver, has 202k miles on it.
Thought it was a gasket issue mechanic found a crack. See pictures.
Debating weather or not to make a swap to v8, put a refurbished 2f, or cut my loses and get it to someone that knows how to do either of those things. Willing to trade, have a liking for 100 series right now, due to some additions of kids. Willing to transport.

Yeah that’s what people keep saying. I love that truck and I love driving it problem is I can’t enjoy it when it’s in the shop and I just don’t know enough about them mechanically. So all decisions require money and trusting someone else.

Call around to every machine shop within 200 miles. Somebody out there has a 2F head laying around taking up space. Put it back together and enjoy the value of an unmolested cruiser. There are tons of engine swapped cruisers on the market for half what yours is worth.

If you call around you can find a good cylinder head. Have it rebuilt by a machine shop and swap it out. I went that route years ago with a head from cruiserparts.net I've had mixed results with some smaller stuff more recently but the cylinder head swap worked great and is not really that expensive.

But if you want to sell it.... how much are you thinking?

Cruiser co in Little Rock surely has something so you don't have to part with it. Or you could leave it in Jonesboro and I'll take care of it lol. Good looking rig hope you find what you'e after.
