Where did you get that A/C fitting on the firewall?
Look through or search my posts in the “v8 swap thread” sticky. I’ve covered it several times in a few threads. All of the part numbers needed and the the tool required. It’s easy.

I may have put my foot in my mouth a bit tonight at the meeting, it came from a place of envy. Anyway. All due respect. This is an awesome build. To hear that exhaust note coming out of an LX450 is pretty amazing. If I had the cash laying around, I may not do it exactly like you did, but I would certainly consider almost everything. It was nice to meet you as well. Next on my list is to call that Toby guy down in Portland...

Curious how the OE radiator is doing and what temps your fans are triggered.

Despite varying opinions on cooling options, my new OE radiator has done well and kept things happy this last summer without any drama.

OE radiator seems to be doing OK currently. I have autometer trans temp and oil temp gauges, which are pretty stable, but only the stock temp gauge for water temp. Never seems to rise above 45%, but not sure how accurate that is. I'll plug in my scanner and tablet and get some better readings in the future.

Will be interested to see how the OE rad performs in Moab.

Oh, and for the record - Transmission runs between 150 and 180. Oil temp is about 210 and spikes to 240 if I get on the throttle, however temp sensor is in the pan, so the oil coming off the squirters under the pistons will be landing right on top of that sensor and probably reads a lot higher than if I was taking a reading off an oil galley.

4 wheel alignment was uneventful - slight toe adjustment. Looks like I'm still running too much lift for the 4" DVS arms though.

Driving the rig down to Portland this coming Saturday (20th) to pick up some fabric from Scheel-Mann. If any of you guys down there want to grab a beer, let me know.

@Joe Link Did you ever get your truck together?

LOL ... Sounds like there's a story there.
It’s not my rig to talk about, but all I’ll tell is it’s “together” in some ways… lol

My rig isn’t running right now, my booster went out and I just replaced it then I went to go test it and my starter went out. Hoping today I can find out if this 80 at a scrapyard is in Seattle or Portland. Hoping it’s in Portland so I can pick it up and get my rig back on the road.

Hopefully it's local for you. If it's in Seattle I can likely pick it up and drop it off on the 20th if you're going to be around.

Welp, no luck. Starter is in Bellingham and wouldn’t get here for a week. So I’m just going to order a new one from Rock Auto. Wish I could have had it going this week, would have loved to meet up with you. I have an LX as well.

Pretty happy with my makeshift digital cluster. Worked well on the drive to Portland and back to pick up fabric from Scheel-Mann. Looking forward to getting the pad and carpet installed. The drone from the exhaust gets old after 5 hours, as sexy as it is.

What’s up with the Bose speaker and upside down beverage? I mean everything else looks great but I want to focus on the trivial things first.

Still no stereo in the truck (everything I want is currently out of stock). The little Bose actually did pretty well.

Cup holder is just a little too small to fit a Gatorade bottle the right way up.

I have RAM track to install over the cubby mount too - A little worried if I tighten the current balls up enough that they don't get unscrewed by the load they're holding that I'll pull the threaded inserts out of the cubby mount. Going to require a little creative installation though, and I've been super lazy the last few weeks.

What stereo are you looking into? I'm looking at the Alpine ilx-w650 or the ilx-407 but have to wait until they're available again. My '94 doesn't even have front door speakers which worsens the anemic and empty chamber that is my music system.

I'm looking at the same stereo ilx-w650 with the KTA-4560 attached amp. Looks like a nice compact package.

Slowly getting all of the rock lights installed and wired. Haven't had much time in the shop for the last couple of weeks between holidays and work travel. opefully I'll get the project wrapped up in the next few weeks.

Made brackets to tuck the centers up between the WKOR slider frame. Decided to use zip ties and 3M tape for attachment to avoid drilling the sliders and creating a future rust problem.

Made custom brackets out of some angle for the fronts and attached to the DVS front bumper. Completely screwed up and did all of the planning on the passenger side and forgot about the AC dryer on the Drivers, but managed to modify to fit. I'd actually have moved the dryer if I'd had the parts, but meh ... this works.
