Anyone doing/leading on Corkscrew tomorrow and OK to have a 1969 FJ55 along?

Pictures never do justice!!
It’s way steeper than it looks at that spot!!
I guided everyone down the other way.
Bob seemed to think the other way was better.
I said IMO you would be way off camber going that way.
I had to move my rig down the hill to make room for others so I didn’t get to see.
I would like to see the pictures.
Here ya go.

The first picture I posted was the most lean, to me.

80 experts,

Would this rear diff locker limit switch prevent my rear diff lock from engaging? Rear diff locker wouldn’t come on, this switch doesn’t have continuity when pressed in.
That works the light . the locker will still engage press the button 50 times or so it will start working again . The contacts get nasty from not being used. If your locker still doesn't work crawl under the rig on the top frt of the t case you will see the same switch pull it 27mm do the same thing until it starts working . If that fails jump the tcase switch it tells the lockers the center diff is engaged and allows the the locker to work ..

Yeah I’ve tested the switch about a dozen times and no go. However, I’ve put everything back and the locker started to work. Not sure how it works without the switch functioning like I think it should. Possible my meter wasn’t picking up continuity.

Those switches rarely go bad the last click must have been the magic one. That switch only turns on the light in your dash your diff will still lock and the locker light will just flash . That is why I tell people to use thier locker couple times a year to keep the switches operating as they should

How did the trivia night go ? Can't remember who did it, but what great idea. If you do it next year please let the sponsors in on it . I would have gladly sponsored a question and tossed out a free t shirt or something for the correct answer. Just a though to maybe make a good idea even better

Nice idea. Will add this to next year. Would likely have more people participate this way. Was a learning experience as the first time.

It was all the spotter, thank you.
It’s great to have an awesome spotter that you trust. Just watch their hands and nothing else. The trail, the obstacle, a cliff of certain death... all just background noise.
