Would this rear diff locker limit switch prevent my rear diff lock from engaging? Rear diff locker wouldn’t come on, this switch doesn’t have continuity when pressed in.

Yes, it would. The diff lock ECU gives the motor "run" signal until it sees a feedback from the limit switch you're holding, then it removes the run signal. Otherwise, the motor would just keep going!

Quick trail fix: Apply pos and neg 12vdc power to the two terminals while pressing the switch on/off in order to 'deglaze' the contacts inside. Do it quickly and only few times since you're technically shorting out your battery! A 9vdc battery is a safer option! See if this helps.

Our family is bummed we had to cancel... we pushed our leave date out twice trying to make it but in the end we had to make a call to stick close to family as my wife's father-in-law is very ill.

I was doubly excited this year as Mideast Classics was a sponsor. My dad's and I little side-gig is doing well enough we wanted to sponsor SAS this year. I'm pretty pumped about our raffle prizes. Figured I'd share here to generate some enthusiasm!

You get a set of new OEM hand tools. Hammer, adjustable wrench, pliers, 5 types/sizes of JIS drivers, and 2 sizes of straight drivers. All in a new @AdventureToolCompany gear bag. Their bags/rolls are favorites of mine for many years now and it seemed a great way to "wrap" this raffle prize. Other than a few pieces of Mideast Classics swag... nothing else shown on my workbench is included.

There are two sets of these... @CenTXFJ60 will raffle them to two lucky winners tonight and I'll get them mailed to you.

Hey SAS gang! the lovely @Mesa Woman reminded me that I should probably post up a reminder... remember tomorrow night (Thursday) we'll be doing a little whiskey tasting, over by the main event area... say 7:00? top three answers...

1. Yes, whiskey will be provided, and an inappropriate amount- it won't get finished, don't even try.
2. Yes, totally bring a bottle over if you want to share something with the group.
3. No, if you're leaving early tomorrow you can't have a glass... we have a limited number of SAS9 whiskey glasses, and they'll be handed out at this time, not ahead of time.

And if you just want to say hi at any time, search out this 40/75 combo, we just rolled in this afternoon.

Both front and rear factory locking differentials are functional now. Just needed to be used a little more.

Climbed Imogene today just fine. Yes, I removed mud flaps before driving to have some more clearance and not destroy them.
