It appears that we have a BJ74 , HZJ73,HDJ74 and my KZJ73 coming . All 4 the same 7x wheelbase , all 3 possible different suspension options possible aka , front and rea leafs, front coils rear leafs and mine with front and rear coils . It would be awesome to see these together in action and see just how different these all behave in real life . Looking forward to it and paging @cruiserdan , @bottombracket and not sure if CB is on Mud or not .

CB is @Unoman.

We will have two white 73/4 factory soft tops!

and drivetrains:

1KZT
1HZ
1HDT
13BT

I want to publicly thank @joekatana because last Friday my 1HDT 74 series was running hot. Tons of crap in the radiator so I flushed everything and replaced with an HDJ79 radiator. After buttoning up the swap I checked my belts… And the whole alternator wobbled. It had somehow gotten loose and eaten through he alternator mount. Joe sent me a high output 24 V alternator that he had on the shelf and I got it buttoned up today. Endless thanks my friend.

Anytime my friend you know that

Hello SAS friends, @joekatana is bringing a 70-series hood up from Texas to SAS for a project we're working on. The hood needs to go to a shop in Salida (near Classic Crusiers) where the truck is being painted. Is there anyone who would be heading home that way that might have space to carry the hood there? We would gladly pay some fuel costs to cover the trouble. Please let me know if you can help and we can arrange details offline. If not, I guess I'm crashing the party on Tuesday night. :)
If @RevISK is unable to drop the hood for you for some odd reason, hit me up! As long as you think it’ll fit in the (full, seats laid down) back of a 62, I work in Salida and can do the deed.

Wow It's going to be a great SAS with all those 73/74s attended, I hope to get on the trail with Y'all and can't wait to check them all out !!

I can't recall seeing any 73/74s at SAS in the last 4 years I have attended 😲 This will be GREAT !!

And I finally got those 4:1 gears in so no need anymore to bounce over the boulders

The trails are very tame. No need to do any bouncing 😉
Excellent breaks and steering are a must as in many areas there’s no second chances. 😳

Excellent brakes 😳

Great. Guess I'll walk then... oh, wait... Diesel, manual transmission, super low idle. I might be OK. :steer:

Lots of places you don't want to miss a turn. low gears are good but your still going to want good brakes.

Like I said...

You can always walk around camp 🤣

Really just trying to be helpful.

The trails are not technical just unforgiving if you make a mistake in a lot of places.

And good nite 😴
