@hygge since Darrell is not attending this year you’re welcome to spend Sunday night @ 47A.
@John McVicker , If the spot is open - I’ll take it for Sunday night!! Many thanks.

I have a spot for Monday - Friday, so I’d only need it for one night.

Many Thanks!!

Kristian

Bring your water wings. It's going to be a wet one.

I am trying to catch up on the thread, Did someone say we cant share spots this year ?
My understand is two vehicles per spot. I think they are trying to avoid large crowds in one spot.
When you check in make sure you get a windshield tag for the vehicles in your camp.

I just mentioned earlier that golf cart guy asked to see my mirror hanger thing last year and then asked that I display it.
SAS 6: 2 Cruisers, 1 Spot

I’m currently the only vehicle in my spot if anyone wants to park in mine. 42b. I’ll be checked in for the whole week starting Sunday.

Hey .1" is a decent and respectable amount for us. We used to get a rain storm everyday but it hasn't done this in years. Been in drought conditions for the past couple years, you put rain on top of that everyday, could have potential land slides.

I’ve been keeping an eye on that. Pffft. 0.1” is what we get in about 2 mins here. That said, I’m glad I splurged on a nice tent for this year.

Showing 60% chance of scattered showers with minimal accumulation every day. Sounds like here from May through September.

A little rain might get some wildlife moving. Would be neat to see some elk or mtn sheep moving around.

FYI: Our KOA spot is booked Sunday night through Saturday night but we aren't arriving until Wednesday afternoon. If it's helpful to somebody you can have our spot Sunday night through Tuesday night. I'm not sure where you'd go after that, but hey - I figured I'd offer it up! I was told we're spot #46 but that they can change it at any time (because of the "new owners"). PM me if interested.

@hygge No it is not ’open’, I was suggesting you could share the site with me for Sunday. Now that I see these post, that might not work with the new owners??

I'm going to suggest that we be responsible for our own campsites. Please make sure you are registered and checked in with them at the front desk. I don't know the new owner as of yet and want to stay on good terms as this is our go to for SAS Headquarters.
If you are sharing a spot please let them know up front. It will make things much easier. I ask that we all follow the rules please, IE campground speedlimits, noise levels, trash, ect...
We as a group represent the early Land Cruiser Community in a public place. We ask that you respect the area and surrounding towns. I like hearing the locals are happy to have us back each year as "the cool Cruiser guys". Would like to keep it that way so a little courtesy goes a long way and helps us keep motivated to continue doing this for years to come.
Thanks for reading my rant, carry on with the banter fellers.
Have a great day, safe travels and may Cruiser Karma be in your favor.
Casey...

@landcrusher909 you sure there’s not a couple of ex girlfriends in there? Looks highly suspect.

I’m thinking I need some sort of bag for mine. I put the rain cover that came with over it as sort of a sacrificial layer and it’s already wearing through from one trip.
