Hmmn. Packing w/o the wife present is highly nerve racking. When she gets to camp, I’m afraid to hear exactly what I forgot to bring.🙈

I’m thinking I need some sort of bag for mine. I put the rain cover that came with over it as sort of a sacrificial layer and it’s already wearing through from one trip.
After the fitting I took it off and sprayed the whole thing with Scotchgard

@John McVicker, currently working on your linkage problem. What all do you need exactly? 86 - 87 is a pretty hard find. Do you need the input and detent slider as well?

Ok, need to know if you have the 3" spacer on the back of your trans as well @John McVicker. A picture of the damaged linkage would be very helpful as well. My phone # is 719-684-6181. If you have some time, give me a call and I can talk with you about this. Thanks!

@DangerNoodle a phone call to you is on the way. Once contact is made, let’s go to post 621 in this thread.
Thanks.

I just mentioned earlier that golf cart guy asked to see my mirror hanger thing last year and then asked that I display it.

I’m currently the only vehicle in my spot if anyone wants to park in mine. 42b. I’ll be checked in for the whole week starting Sunday.
I might need one😁

I started packing the truck and was immediately met with looks of disapproval. I hadn't even gotten beyond the tools and first aid kit... I'll go back to "supervising."

Love of your packing style. I've never thought to tie gear down in the back - always chucked it in the back and took off.

While on the subject of packing please have a fire extinguisher and a minimal first aid kit in your rig.
As a reminder FRS/ GMRS is the comms we use out on the trail. One of the cheaper walkie talkie types you can get at Wal-Mart or the like will be sufficient.

Supervising is best…I’m not as crazy as I look ya know.

I’ve been keeping an eye on that. Pffft. 0.1” is what we get in about 2 mins here. That said, I’m glad I splurged on a nice tent for this year.
See this is the problem with getting the rain everyday.

Love that saying.

Hey SASers!!
Just a reminder when visiting the KOA, Ouray, and surround areas that we ARE representing the Cruiser Community! There is new ownership at KOA so let’s make a good impression and show them what an awesome group we are!
I was poking around the KOA website and found these under the group event photos:
We are the only ones on their site for groups & events.
We have Cool Classics and Big Hearts!
See ya in a few days! 👋 :steer: ✌🏼

My understand is two vehicles per spot. I think they are trying to avoid large crowds in one spot.
When you check in make sure you get a windshield tag for the vehicles in your camp.
I called KOA the other day and they just don’t want sites too crowded with vehicles. It may be a game-time decision for them but if everyone is cool and doesn’t cause issues, it sounds like we may be able to fudge it a bit. Just be respectful of rules and we may get some leniency.
