Year and model? NAPA has good quality brake lines specific for Land Cruisers.

91 HDJ81. I was able to get the dealer to expedite the order. It was just a preventive maintenance item so it’ll do fine for the trip. The hose is still in good shape.

If anyone needs extra 80 series stuff (belts, bolts, etc) I may have it with me, just reach out.

Cutting it close.

You & me both Bydge, good luck with yours.

Today we installed new pistons & rings, put the rebuilt head on and hooked up coolant stuff. Tomorrow we will torque the head & manifold, put the carb back on, put in oil & water and hopefully start the break in.

I don’t like doing this stuff, this close to the deadline, I’m sure you don’t either...again, good luck, see you there!

Headed west to Moab. Plan is to make it to Wichita Falls today. See y’all in Ouray!

Anyone coming from PDX ? I have a potential mudship request for some h55 swap parts..

Anyone interested in hiking to the summit of Uncompahgre peak 14,309 ft.?, trail head is at end of FR 877 , off county rd. 20 near Lake City , on the alpine loop.
About 7 mile round trip with 3000 ft. gain, some scrambling and route finding near the top. If the weather is good it would be a nice early day hike.

May be interested. I was planning on doing some hiking during the week. Was planning on hiking up to Ice Lake. 14ers are rad to hike.
