Trying to focus on the chassis

Well, we're trying to mock up the front end experiment. We've now got 80 series bushings installed in the custom sleeves. Chromoly links and large heims. We should be able to get this mocked up and cycled to see if the travel will be there.

Powdercoating

Well, since I'm waiting for other stuff to happen, might as well get some stuff ready for re-assembly. I had 3 boxes of stuff media blasted and powdercoated satin black. Heater assembly, brake gas and clutch pedal assembly, glove box skin, rear seat brackets, side apron grills, hood cross member where the support rod attaches and the hood hinges. I'm not sure what else will get done besides the frame, but I'm sure something. Progress anyhow...

more front end work-steering location

Well, we've got the link frame mount located and mocked up. The steering box is also located. Any feedback as to the location on the frame to mount that? I'm using an 80 series box. With the coilover going in, I've put it is the optimum spot I think. Would love some feedback before I drill away....... :hmm:

Steering location decided

Well, the holes have started so there is no stopping me now. I'm going to plate and sleeve this mount with chromoly material. I'll post more as I go.

The bodywork is getting closer.....

Well, the front DS fender is ready for primer and paint. Body is pretty much ready except for the nasty DS front door jamb that rusted out. Need to put some more sheet metal in before fiberglass and finish work. I've decided to paint it Grabber Blue from the 2010 Ford Paint colors. MUST NOT STOP !!!!!:bounce::bounce2:

Love the wheel/tire package. Looks great. I am thinking about running the same tire on mine (35" BFG KM2's but on 15x10's). Great build for sure!
