Builds Resto-mod on my 55 has begun (5 Viewers)

Heading off to wiring on Friday. Going a little crazy with this. Going with a PDM from Motec and a 15gang switch box and an OBD2 port. No fuse box, cruise control and a lot of lights and ports. All 4 seats heated. Am being told it’ll be done in the later part of January so there’s hope.

There’s a corner of my mind that wants one, it’s smaller than other desires. I see pictures like that and think just maybe. Of course suitable temps where I live are about 2 months long. And a subaru motor sounds perfect to my anti vw feelings.

My Baja with an open stinger allways sounded good, the ricer Subi’s always sound flat to me...yes I know.

Once it gets back from wiring, I'll have to finish engine plumbing(hoses, intake, AC plumbing). Put fluids in everything. Get the doors put back together. Put gas in it!! I have a feeling it'll need a higher spring rate from what I noticed while following it over the the wiring guy and I saw it bouncing and leaning while on the trailer a little more than I'd like if I was actually in the drivers seat. I'm super antsy to say the least.......
