Where is this aviation museum? You must be a aircraft mechanic by the looks of your avitar? You must have used 3/32 cherry pull rivets for the threaded inserts?
Museum of Flight at Boeing Field. Pretty cool museum and they have a great kids camp in the summer. I like the WWII exhibit, my favorite era of planes. If you're ever in Seattle, it's one of the things I'd say we have that is interesting to visit, don't forget to cross the bridge to the space exhibit and undercover retired planes (that photo they posted) where you can walk into some older planes like the Concorde. If you want something good to eat near by, there's a lot of good restaurants that are hidden around Boeing Field. Sisters and Brothers is some really good fried chicken, the "Seattle Hot" is pretty damn hot too.
So my wife is on vacation in Hawaii with coworkers and I’m off work 4 days unsupervised (heaven). I left the slider project idle this morning because my old friend from Bend, Oregon came over with his wife and adult daughter for a visit. I took them up on the local mountain to shoot. So after a blessed period of time with friends I continued with the slider project.
Given the fact that, before today I hadn’t bent tube, I’m pleased with the outcome. Judge my welds as you will. I’m sure the Lincoln 140 plus my patience burned it in well enough.
The goal was for the new rail to stick out the same distance as the kick out part of the original White Knuckle slider. It ended up a little wider. Also, I added a short piece of rectangular tube to the forward end of the main rail so I could extend the slider forward some. Now forward and wider, it should keep me off the rocks better.
Up on the Mountain by our casa. Started off shooting the Sig in some fog. Moved on up hill and the day got clearer. Perhaps my favorite part was the dark, deep woods in the puddles time.

I like it too because it seems to cycle all ammo well and is easily concealed on my smaller profile. Actually, I bought it for winter fashion, I usually carry my P238 in the summer when clothing is less.
