Just 1st aid a flashlight and probably a knife for now. I may add more later though.I went with aluminum as I live in the north east and want to limit the parts that can rust. What do you plan to mount to the molle?

So now there are a few sets of these out there, can anyone who actually has them comment on the actual ease of access to stuff inside the truck? I think the design and workmanship looks top-notch, but it seems like it would be difficult to actually reach much of anything inside the truck, particularly if the truck is lifted much? Any truth to this? For me the molle panels are attractive for that reason because it keeps stuff "right there" where you need it.
Thanks. How tall are you?I have a custom drawer system in the back, with the fridge and puma compressor on the drivers side. The gull-wing makes getting to the fridge, puma and anything stored between the fridge and window very easy to access. The fridge is sitting 7" above the floor. I keep my compressor hose, air guage and super siphon under the drivers side drawer wing, which sits at floor level, I have no issue reaching those through the window.
On the passenger side my drawer system sits 12" above the floor. At that height I can reach everything stored on top through the gull-wing. I can also get my axe, tarp and spare motor oil out from under the passenger side drawer wing very easily. Getting my axe out used to be a bit of a chore, through the window its simple.
For reference, my cruiser has OME Comp 5" springs and 315's. With all the weight I have added the springs sit more like an unloaded 4" spring.
I am 5'10"...maybe 5'11" depending on who is measuringThanks. How tall are you?
No worries Frank. Thanks @Bimrunner and @mryanangel for sharing your install experience and pics

yodaTEQ Gull Wing Hatch System
These aren't designed to be popped in and out. The aluminum window frame is modified during the install which prevents you swapping back to glass. I suppose you could get and extra aluminum window frame so you could have both your windows and your gull-wings, but it would still take some effort to pull and replace the window. I think you need another vehicle for hauling the kids around...keep the 80 setup for 5 people and gear in the back. So, my wife won't let me get these. When we have the extra kids we need the third row going to the mountains.
Her argument is, they want the windows because it gets stuffy.
How removable are these? Either removing them at the trail, or swapping in the windows before the trip?
I already have to remove the drawers and move that gear to the roof rack. When I need the third row.
Really, I need a 100 for when the kids are around, so I can keep the 80 for the immediate camping family...
There was a question regarding access with the Gull Wing Hatch System
My wife and daughter (about 5' tall) use a folding step stool you can pick up at any camping supply store >>>LINK<<< for under $15

Weighs about 2½lbs and it stores easily inside the wings above the wheel well
Here is a pic of my daughter accessing our ARB Frig using her step stool

For reference: I'm running a Old Man Emu 3" lift with 315 BFG KM2s
Front Coils OME 2850J, Rear Coils OME 2863J, Shocks 60070L 60071L
When are you going to make that aluminum trailer lid for the M416??? I need one in my life.
I used that same folding stool but drilled a hole in one corner and tied a piece of rope to it with a loop on the end .
My wife uses it to climb into the cruiser while holding onto the loop. That way once in her seat she can hoist the stool up into the truck.
Works great
THANKS! Let me know when you're ready and I'll build you a set.Really liking this Frank. mmmmmm better start saving for this. Good stuff man.
