Doing that here in Australia will require a very extensive engineering assessment before such a mod is approved. In effect, it's completely altering the original design of the chassis. Looks really good though but as mudgudgeon said Oz rules say that you cannot weld on any kind of aftermarket towing setup. I think it's because when a vehicle is approved for sale here it gets 'type approved' for it's baseline standard engineering spec by a federal government dept and anything that modifies it requires engineering approval or it voids rego and insurance.

Here in Oz it's not legal to have more than 125 mm of lift without engineering approval - no more than 50 mm increase in spring height + 50 mm bigger diameter tyres + 25 mm body lift.

That said, my 80 has a 3" lift with springs and runs 285/75r16 tyres but all the assessors I've talked to say it's no problem as it's all done properly with commercially-available parts.

After 5 saw-zall blades met their maker, whichever route I decide to go, there's no turning back now.

of topic, but yeah, re-read the rules. Its a maximum total combined lift of 50mm in some states, not a grab bag of all three.
