So I must have ground down this joint a bit much and when they sandblasted they blew a hole in it a little less then a pencil eraser in size. Beside just putting some chewing gum on it any ideas on how to fix that?View attachment 2341390

Wow what a 4th of July. Went out for a mellow wheeling session...
Got a great pic of my newly painted hood.

Got within 3mins of the paved road and then mellow got real unmellow!
We made it up the trail without mishap- Rower Flat/ Texas Canyon. Then We decided to ck out the trail down to a reservoir. Never had done this trail before. Pretty much done and already thinking about the drive home and what was going to be for diner. Turned a corner and was confronted with a step of steps! I am guessing a 5’ drop within 10’ with a 3’ step in the middle. probably the steepest ever for me.
Time to travel into the unknown! Iv always liked this quote

Only those who push the limits know where the boundaries lie.

I don’t wanna experience boundaries tho.

I straightened out. Inched foward and off. I made it! Definitely puckered would describe it.
Now my buddy decided to take a more off camber angled approach. He came in and started sliding, released the brakes, bounced around and down. During his bouncing he steered his passenger tire up the bank while his driver slid into a rut. It was fast fast fast and then it was slowwww and it stoped, resting on its side! :( So now he is on his side on a hill Within sight of a paved road. Shortening the story
We were able to tip him back over and he drove out. And all the way home. Front quarter, driver door, and rear door do not look good now. Able to close his doors and windows tho. He was pretty bummed, but by the time we got to my house he was able to laugh about it. Neither his dog nor himself was hurt and he was able to get his car home and have it for Driving to work on Monday

I DID NOT have my phone out to film it!!!!! How coul I have been so bad! I got a stupid shot of my hood but missed the real action, Augh!!! I gotta get better with that phone thing.

Happy 4th!

Nice you got out, not nice about buddy’s truck, hopefully it’s something easy to find parts for?
