How far did you have to go to find that? I'd expect that finding no rust in NH is about as great a quest as finding on in PA.

After years of being on the 60 series side of Mud, I am now also hanging out over here in the 4Runner section. Here is my recent purchase.

Interesting that they used Aisin hubs on the full-float conversion (FROF?), but not at the front.

I am in the process of changing that out right now. They did a birf ellimination kit on the front which uses Dana 44 axles. I am swapping it all back to Toyota and RCV axles.

I recalled that discussion from some other thread. I just hadn't noticed the Aisin hubs at the rear in those previous pics.

I found it while living in CO. Sheridan, WY. It had been sold on BaT, but the guy lost interest in the truck, bought for $250 above what he paid and $250 tip to the broker for helping.

‘94 that I recently picked up. Been looking for one for a good while that hasn’t been rusted out or thrashed! Mostly stock with a newly rebuilt 22re from Sunwest. Planning to beef up the suspension and maybe switch up the gearing to gain a little more giddy up on steeper grades

Nice. Welcome to our slice of MUD. :flipoff2: <- official MUD welcome.

Recently put at deposit on a 1996 Hilux SSR-X 2LTE with 130KM, just waiting on the title to come in the mail. I've been absorbing the vast amounts of information on this forum and can't wait to start turning wrenches on the truck. Some sweet looking rigs in this thread, here's a few pics of mine.

If that air filter element is the same as those used on FJ62's and FJ80's then there is an OEM Toyota reusable washable, no oil air filter element that you can buy for it. Search the FJ80 sub-forum for the p/n.

I came over from the 60 series section…… for all of my teenage years it has ALWAYS been about 60 series! I Never stopped to look at what I already have! And never realized how beautiful my little “cheap flatbed” was until recently….. god this truck is awesome, it is so underrated.
