Re-skin a Bestop with OEM and straps

I love the look of OEM soft tops like the ones @Trollhole makes, but I want the sun on me and like to put the windshield down when wheeling and You can't do that with his.

You can with Bestop Supertop® but I don't like the "look" as much. I dig the straps and canvas look etc of OEM.

Has anyone figured out a way to fold their OEM soft top down? Or have any of you modified a Bestop to look OEM? I'm leaning towards getting a Bestop and using it for a few years, then having a guy modify it for me.

I have always toyed with using a bestop or kayline bows and make a canvas for it mimic the oem top

Would be a cheap and convenient top idea

Have you given any thought to making your own canvas to go over a bestop bows?
