Updates

Hopefully more to come soon. However with all that has been going on just happy to be alive at this time. Currently working on a front drive shaft interferance with the crossmember. Hits when on full extension. I am doing a tunel mod but with all that's going on very, very, slowly. BT is rready to fire but due to shaft interferance not ready to roll. Looks like I will be hitching a ride with David to Upstate Annual meeting however. Adam should see you there I understand that david is bringing your rims too, as well as my tired old backside. See Ya!

Life and it's mystery

Got a call at 4 am David to arrive at 6 or so and guess what. Somebody got sick so I had to work. Sorry could not come to annual, Will keep plugging however. See you all soon and I promise updates on BT including the tunnel mod crossmember soon. Doc:beer:

Why did you mod the tunnel?

Hitting the crossmember the tunnel mod is on the crossmember where the drive shaft is hitting not the transmission tunnel in the body, wasn't clear any way the pic's will clearly show what was done. I plan on a OD transfer down the road and my ds is already hitting with the 4 inch lift at full extension when the length is increased the angle will just about discect the stock cross member so instead of notching for clearance now and then later having to modify will just modify it now. :)

Update

First I have not died, completly. Second I have wimped out on the tunnel mod. just too much work right now so I just notched and lowered the cross member 1/4 inch. Good to go! Simple and no brainer just 1/4 inch spacers and removed a little of the front lip of the cross member replaced and checked no interference. Oh BT-60 had a very short engine start today, So she lives. But some time durring the rebuild the solid fuel lines developed leaks where gravel had in the past become wedged between them and the frame. As the fuel pressue came up with the bust off fuel began poring out from under the rig. Had it on my lift and our chapter pres was helping at the hammon so we bumped it again to find the leak, it was a little scary with the exhaust collector open at the header flinging hot gases and noise at him while he stood in a pool of gasoline, neadless that we shut her down quick. But my god It sounded awesome to me. More and I promise pic's too in the near future. Go to get her ready for GSMTR in JUne:cheers:

Nothing like a Diesel shower to start your day ...

Was wondering what happened to your project.
